I love gyros, and I originally came in to try the gyros sandwich everybody raves about but then at the last minute I decided to choose the csvapi sausage instead because I had never had it before. What a good choice! Csvapi are little free-form (uncased) sausages that are grilled and served on fresh flatbread and accompanied by sour cream and onion. The smoky flavor of the grill is wonderful, and the combination with the lightness of the flatbread is perfect.

The only trick is that you can’t eat it as a sandwich. It’s too big to pick up and all the sausages pile out the bottom of you try. Rookie mistake. Just tear off a little piece of bread, add some sour cream and/or onion and a piece of sausage and pop it in your mouth. Delicious! And it’s such a satisfying meal that you stay pleasantly full for hours.

It can take a little while for the food to come out, so just relax. Everything is done fresh to order and the wait is more than worth it. Also the parking lot is tiny and congested, so don’t be afraid to park on the street and walk back. You’ll be glad you did!

The best Ćevapi, and Gyro sandwich in Louisville bar none. It’s always very tasty and the staff is super friendly. The wait a little lengthy, but that’s due to everything being made from scratch for that day. When you go try to order ahead or allow your self extra time. This place will become one of your favorites. Make sure you order Ćevape (bosnian beef sausages) in Fluffy flat bread, Served with a side of sliced onions and sour cream. Now go and get you some, you won’t be disappointed.

Go here with an open mind, open mouth, but not necessarily an open wallet. I believe the people here are Bosnian and do not speak English as a first language but they are great with communicating with you and very patient. The portions are generous and the bread that they use is amazing. I had the cevapi and the gyro. Both are great but I don’t think I can eat a gyro any other way now. The bread that they use is so much better than the traditional flat bread I typically get with a gyro.

And like I said, you won’t have to open your wallet very much because everything is reasonable priced.
