What an amazing experience and great price! My husband and I went for our anniversary lunch. There was so much food in the meal for 2 we ended taking 1 3/4 pounds of meat home! (Yes, we weighed it!) The salads are incredible and it’s just a lot of fun!

At first it might seem a little sketch, that there is a Korean BBQ joint in Lavonia, and in the old Shoney’s on top of that. However once you commit and walk through the front doors you forget all about any of that. The restaurant is very clean and has the shiniest floor I have ever seen. We were greeted upon arrival and shown to a table, we had 8 in our party so we got two tables in the back. The staff was friendly and they got our order correct. The drinks arrived quickly and the food started showing up. The younger kids in our group ordered from the kids menu and they seemed to enjoy it as there wasn’t much to bring home. The older kids and kids at heart had the BBQ mix. This was pretty cool as they will cook the food right at the table if you want. Not knowing what was what we had our food cooked. It is a lot of food. We started with brisket and the meat just kept coming. They bring a lot of sides out too and will refill them as much as you request. They have this corn dish with cheese on top that really resonated with my southern heart. Kimchi, pickled radish, bean sprouts, and fish cake just to name a few of the sides. The server was awesome and she just kept cooking and smiling the entire time. She overheard that we were celebrating a birthday and she gave us all melon popsicles which were awesome. With our bellies full of meaty treats we packed up the leftovers (enough for dinner tomorrow) and made our way out the door. All in all this place is really out of place but once you give it a shot and open the doors you won’t be disappointed. The food was top notch, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was super clean! What more could you ask for?! I highly recommend eating here and urge you to try it if you haven’t already. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful! The location was a little questionable but the interior definitely lives up to the Korean barbeque name! The side dishes were okay, could be a little more seasoned. This location is different from Duluth. The grilling is done on your own, so be sure to have a designated griller in your party. The meats here are absolutely the highlight of my meal!! The beef short ribs have that authentic Korean short rib taste and the brisket was really good too!! The service was also the best I’ve had in a long time. My server Jonah was SUPER sweet! He was so kind and attentive. Hopefully they hire more people like him!! Definitely give this place a try for their all you can eat Korean bbq! AMAZING price and mouth watering selection of meats! It is a great mix of Korean bbq and Korean desserts!! ( Surprisingly have a LARGE selection of sweet treats and drinks)

10/10 100% would recommend. Its a very clean restaurant.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, the food top tear, the service eas wonderful. The owners husband was the cook and he came out to cook for us. Wich was nice. Talking with him was so sweet. At first we thought it was expensive till ALL THE FOOD CAME OUT.
As some one that barely eats, I practically rolled out of the place. Try the number one pork combo. And the matcha drink.
If you’re an emotional person don’t wear mascara here you will end up crying for how amazing the food is and great service.we even met the owner she was so sweet. We stayed here for 2 hours. So happy.
And they are hiring

So this was our first time doing anything Korean bbq or “cook it yourself” related. The staff were so pleasant, they immediately noted our “deer in the headlights” look and offered advice and help.

We ordered 4 dishes for the table, I will say 4 entrees for a family of 4 was a lot. You could probably get away with 2 or 3.

The coals had a hard time staying hot and had to be swapped out. It felt like forever for our pork to cook, and given that we were novices, we were all afraid of eating raw meat.

Overall, it was a fun experience. It’s definitely something I would recommend everyone try. Unfortunately this was not for us, but that is a decision for the customer to make.

I would recommend this restaurant simply because of the friendly staff and their willingness to help!

One of the most authentic Korea restaurants I have been to in a long time. Friendly staff, as well as the chef comes oround and speaks with you. Recommend this place to eat! Well worth the price.

Cheap cuts of meat with a very high price. All sides were good but used the same pickling brine so they all kinda taste the same. Very very expensive for what you really get. Neat concept. Clean. Excellent wait staff

Was told used charcoal. Seated at table using gas canisters. Food took forever to cook. Ran out of gas. Charged for rice and extra sides even though we had 5 people at our table. Portion sizes too small. Waiter was hardly around and we had to ask for everything. Had no dipping sauces when meat was cooked, Had to ask for water refills.
My advice – drive past this place and head down to Gwinnett county for Korean BBQ. So many good choices. You’ll get much much more food, better flavor, for the same price.

This is my second time eating korean food and it was absolutely delicious! I had the kimchi fried rice and it came out within 10 minutes, steaming hot and in a huge serving. The spice does build with each bite so unless you have a high spice tolerance, I would recommend ordering one of the milk teas to go along with it. I had the matcha milk tea and it was absolutely delicious. I tasted the peach tea and it wasn’t my favorite (it tastes like those peach fruit cups with a bitter aftertaste imo)

My family got the beef Bulgogi dupbap, soy garlic fried chicken wings, pork fried rice and shrimp fried rice and they were all really tasty, with generous serving sizes. All the meals come with udon soup, which is a light broth. In my opinion the udon soup could have been hotter. They also serve pickled radish, pickled cucumber, fish sticks, and kimchi to the table. All the side dishes were really delicious, especially the cucumber.

The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing with traditional style korean songs playing in the background. The bathrooms are extremely clean as well.

This might just be a result of the warm weather but there were a few flies around the restaurant so just make sure not to leave your food unattended.

All in all, this was an amazing dining experince. I’ll definitely be back to try the kbbq!!
