Absolutely delicious! I was at an event tonight and this was absolutely the hit. The stew and curry chicken was tender and well seasoned. The portion of food was very generous considering the price (I came back for seconds to go). The owner was personable, kind and hardworking. Definitely worth following this food truck around the DMV. Well done!

Homemade Jamaican food in bowie!!! It was a cold night and we needed something with some HEAT! The jerk chicken with rice and beans was super flavorful and full of spices. We also ordered the curry chicken and it was cooked just right. We tried the pumpkin rice to see what it was like and it was very good. As a chef myself I had to thank them in person. Great food and we will be back.

I ordered the Oxtails with rice & peas at the Old Bowie Festival last weekend. Sadly, the oxtails were not tender at all – the worst oxtails I ever had, and the plantains were undercooked. Very disappointing. and a horrible value for $30. I will give them kudos for the pink lemonade, which was delicious and perfectly half frozen, which made it super refreshing.

I’ve been coming to this food truck since they opened at the beginning of the pandemic! This is some of the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had and the owners are so nice. There’s really no way to go wrong when ordering. My favorites are the curry chicken, jerk chicken, and any type of patty (beef, vegetable, or chicken) I hope that this food truck continues to flourish!!

I noticed them in the parking lot of Bowie Town Center and decided to get a lil something to snack on. It was Bowie’s Restaurant Week so I ordered four patties for $10, two beef and two veggie. They were good. I wouldn’t mind ordering a meal next time. However, I don’t eat chicken or oxtails so hopefully I’ll catch them on a day where they have fish or shrimp.

The worst experience ever! I went to the African American festival and was told they only had large oxtail so I bought that and a jerk chicken Pattie. After waiting 1 hour for my food they came out and said they gave my food away to someone else. They then gave me a jerk chicken Pattie that was tore up and I paid for it. I was tired of waiting for 1 hour that I ended up leaving the festival and throwing the Pattie away.

The vegetable patties really good. The beef patties were soggy the oxtail taste like it was boiled no flavor whatsoever so sorry to give this review but Caribbean food has a lot of flavor.. this did not.

Got the ox tail dinner great flavor– ox tails well seasoned “and tender” and cabbage nicely seasoned. Good portions…. Was surprised to see this food truck in the Bowie Town Center parking lot to the far left outside the LA Fitness front door. Glad to know they are there from 12 p.m. to 8p, so can get lunch/dinner. So glad they have my favs acki & saltfish and escovitch (call ahead for that) Not far from my house and great location because I’m working remote!! Very delicious! Friendly, mindful of covid safety (serve pineapple ginger drink in bottle… was good) Great service!!

YUM YUM YUM! The Curried Goat w/ rice is LIFE! And the Chef & Family is super duper sweet and helpful! They came to the African American Cultural Festival in PA and we were SO thankful for the smiles, service and especially the flavor! We ate it before we could even take pics, haha. Also try the juice…they’re FULL of yummy flavor you don’t usually find at the grocery store.
