Great place to eat with a lot of options, good quality and reasonably priced food. We ate at the sushi & poke truck, then the Kampaii truck which were both great! The wait was a little long (30ish minutes) since they were busy but the atmosphere is great with games around and we got beers and margaritas at the central bar for the wait.

Must see in Tamarindo! We tried something from every food truck, and everything was great. Our favorites were the: fish & chips, cheese/shrimp empanadas, lomo saltado noodles, everything from the Asian thai stand. Churros were also delicious, get the filled ones!!

Stop by a few times in our brief stay in Tamarindo and we wanted to make sure we got a good variety in while we could. We tried the Poke, the churros, and the Mexican trucks, but the easy standout for me was the Mexican truck. We got a chicken quesadilla and a beef burrito which were both delicious and ridiculously good portions for a reasonable price. The woman behind the truck was incredibly sweet and helpful too. Poke truck was tasty, but it was definitely pretty slow service considering it should have just been putting a bowl together! Churros were nice and crispy, and getting the stuffed ones is a nice little extra surprise and definitely wished we got the ice cream with them considering how hot it was when we stayed! Getting to sit outside after just getting back from the beach was also a nice touch after a long day, and they have plenty of cocktail and beer selections to choose from while you’re at it.

Super cool food truck area in tamarindo. A little harder to find but it’s a great area and a good variety of places to eat. One bar in the middle for your drinks of choice. Was a burger place, fish and chips, dessert place, Peruvian, Caribbean and a Mexican place. The food was very good! (Caribbean was slow service but they did deliver to the table) Highly recommend!

Everything you are craving in one place. I went with Peruvian fried seafood and hubby went with Caribbean fish fillet and both were spectacular. The bar had good selection of drink and the sangria was a good pairing. I need to go back and get some of those churros!

Love this place. Way more chill and local-feeling than the other outdoor food market in town that’s full of overpriced drinks and tourists. The food/drink here is so reasonably priced. Most vendors take credit cards, but some are cash only, so bring both. There’s a big outdoor wooden Jenga board and a bunch of picnic tables and high tops for people to sit and eat. There was a DJ playing music, making the atmosphere a bit more lively and there’s a swing for photo ops/children. Definitely recommend.

We went for dinner around 6 and lines were okay but after that almost every truck had a long line and it took LONG for food to arrive.
We tried the burger place, poke, hotdog, Mediterranean & the churro place. It was all good. Vibe was gorgeous.

I highly recommend the patacones at Los Primos. They’re delicious. A local chef recommended this place and we absolutely loved it. We ended up coming back twice more during our 10 day trip. They take cash or card.
We came here for both lunch and dinner and went to the bar right in front for beers and smoothies (on separate occasions) and La Churretica for dessert.
