My first time at Jardin and I will be back very soon!! The restaurant is small but it is so clean and cute, great opportunity for pictures! I wish I took one while I was there but I was starving so I stayed at the table eating the delicious chips and salsa they gave us! The waitress was so, so, so nice. She gave great recommendations and actually chose my meal for me because I couldn’t decide. My sister had the rope Vieja (which I tasted, delicious!) I had the fish tacos and they were amazing. Perfect, actually. I have not one single complaint. Everything was beyond great and I can’t wait to get back over there!

This is a won’t little restaurant that serves for from Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Cuba and Dominican Republic. The good we had was tasty and well cooked. The prices are a bit high for what you get, but the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was decent, but morning out of this world. If you are interested in authentic food from any of these locations, you should give it a try!

I called ahead and specifically asked about getting two orders of half steak, half chorizo tacos. I even confirmed over the phone if there would be a price change since their tacos are listed at $12 an order they told me no, it would be the same price.
When I got there, they tried to charge me $33.60 for two $12 orders. After I questioned it, the lady took one box out and handed me the bag. I paid $25.60 and figured it would at least be worth it but these tacos were the most disappointing thing I’ve ever bought.
The “chorizo” wasn’t even real chorizo it was just soggy, cubed sausage that looked and tasted like longaniza or hot dog chunks. Barely any seasoning, one tortilla per taco, and the presentation was awful. I could’ve made better tacos at home with leftovers.
For the price I paid, I expected quality and honesty, not confusion over pricing and this kind of food. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting authentic tacos or fair customer service.

Came here on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday with 8 people. I called a few hours before and Jardín Latino was able to accommodate me.
When we arrived we were the only ones there. I’m truly shocked because the service and the food is delicious and filling. The portions are shareable in my opinion. ( or I might just be getting old ☺️) . However, throughout the night people did come in for dinner and takeout.
There is only one waiter and she was phenomenal. Attentive, patient and helpful.
The menu is quite unique. There’s Hispanic dishes for everyone. Columbian, Cuban, Dominican, Peruvian etc. We each ordered something different and enjoyed ourselves.
I would certainly go back if I’m ever in the area. Clean, and cozy restaurant! I’m glad I was able to have an intimate birthday dinner with my family! Thank you Jardín Latino!

Was there on Memorial day for my husband. We ordered chicken enchiladas $16 and fish tacos $14 also a bottle water for $2 the food was fine. When asked for checking the bill said if paid by credit card would add up to 36.xx so I paid cash $40 (total plus tax supposed to be $34.24) the waitress who looked like a senior there gave me back 3.xx as if we paid by credit card (not to mention it’s my money and she took it out of my side but returned the change on my husband’s) so I informed her that I paid cash she was mumbling something about it’s holiday, no lady, no matter what day it was, you suppose to give me back $5.76 if so, I would put more extra few bucks for the tips which usually everywhere we went I always tip 20-25% no matter with happy or sad services. But because of the dishonest so I left 3.xx for the tips if she wanted she could have the rest out of the draw. Thanks to self I love reading so I saw every note on the bill.

Definitely order the nachos! Portion is more for a bigger group since I didn’t finish my entree. Although, it’s a good meal alone itself. Overall the food was better than expected. We wanted to check another local restaurant to recommend to family or friends that come by. It was more empty that day because of the time we went, it’s beautiful inside. The decor was definitely well thought of compared to a different Colombian restaurant in a different city I would prefer this place. I loved that they had the glass Coca-Cola that’s always a go to for me.

$17.55 for a “pan con chicharrón” that has absolutely nothing of the real thing. To begin with, that bread is a hamburger bun. It has no sweet potato… and in the photo you can see the 4 pieces of onion they put. 3 chunks of pork full of fat. Terrible! If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Never again will I order anything from this place. AWFUL!

We went for New Year’s Eve. Cozy, festive and warm environment on a frigid night. The staff was super sweet and attentive. The menu was extensive and our waitress made some great recommendations. The food came out hot and delicious! My husband had skirt steak w shrimp and rice + tostones. I had chicken w shrimp, rice, beans + maduro. We live 45 minutes away but we will definitely make the trip back.

Jardín Latino is an absolute vibe! The food is always fresh, packed with flavor, and you can taste the love in every bite. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home, and the whole place has such a fun, welcoming energy. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or going out for a laid-back dinner with friends, this spot never disappoints. Easily one of the best hidden gems in Pompton Lakes — highly recommend checking it out! ️

Chef’s Kiss!!! Came here for lunch one day and was pleasantly surprised. The ceviche de chicharron was something I’m going to crave. All three entrees we ordered were made with love. Like no short cuts. Also it’s run by a husband and wife couple which I love so much. Go support your local small businesses out there. And you deserve some really good food! We will be back.
