Wouldn’t know how the food was because we never got seated. 10+ couples booked for 6pm on Valentines Day and we all had to wait at least 45 minutes (many of us left at that point), and those who eventually got seated waited at least 25 minutes for wine/apps. Host was not providing any updates to the guests waiting in line so nobody knew how long it would be until we would get seated. Wish I got to try the food or even sit down!

The service was nice. Didn’t know the restaurant existed until I saw 2 people sitting at the table.. my fault for not doing proper research. Both bartenders were great each night. I went to the bar. I enjoyed the double shots of greygoose and cranberry alongside the yummy lambchops(cooked medium) pureed sweet potatoes and vegetables everything cooked to absolute perfection. For breakfast, I had the crab egg Benedict. The manager Carlos was an awesome down to earth host going to each customer, making sure everyone was fine . He was pleasant to talk to. I have been to several restaurants in D.C., probably the first time I was personally greeted by the manager . Thanks for the pleasant memories..

Went for Valentine’s and have never seen a restaurant fall apart like this. They were dramatically understaffed. We got our food, but most patrons left after being ignored for more than 30 mins. There was a line of couples waiting for their tables who ended up leaving. The service team did the best they could, but it was a disaster. I feel bad for the folks who were working.

I made reservations for my wife and I for Valentine’s Day dinner. We arrived on time and there was no one to seat us. We waited at the entrance for about five minutes before a waiter walked past us and he didn’t acknowledge our existence. We watched for another five minutes while he checked on a few tables. Finally he walked up to us and to two more couples that had arrived for 7:30pm reservations. The waiter said they had a staffing shortage that evening and if we were to be seated it would be a very long time to be served any food. We all said we had reservations, and he said that didn’t matter. We asked how long he meant by “a very long time”and he said it would be least one hour to receive any food after ordering and possibly much longer depending on what was ordered. So on Valentine’s Day at 7:50pm, with confirmed reservations at Restaurant Jardenea, we all had to find another restaurant that was available.

The food and drinks were pretty good. Most portions are a bit small. Sides are separate. For the price I would’ve liked a bit more. I left a little hungry. Maybe people go for the experience. I don’t know. The servers were nice. The food came quickly. Drinks took a while but the bartender was a bit busy.

Good food. Good music and good customer service. All you need to make a good restaurant. It was a pleasure to discover this gem. It was a little cold ❄️ when I went there. But the lounge was warm enough and I had a good time.

I had a very pleasant experience here. I stumbled in the Melrose because of the heavy rainfall and there was a beautiful and well organized bar calling out to me. I couldn’t help but take a seat at the counter and order an Old Fashioned while watching the US Open semifinals.
The amazing bartender served me the most delicious Old Fashioned beverage I have ever had. To top things off, she used a classical large ice cube so that it would not overwater the drink down. She meticulously prepped the garnish and even gently burned a star anise spice to elevate the flavours. Last but not least, she included this delicious alcoholic cherry that gave this Old Fashioned drink a 3 dimensional experience. I highly recommend this bar and bartender!

Service was great! Momo was a very attentive server and was super accommodating. The seasonal soup— leek and potato soup was superb! The food was also very affordable compared to other restaurants in Georgetown

Food looked/sounded good on the menu. The ambiance was good; it wasn’t truly like a 4 star restaurant though. The service was awful. 2 tables got serviced before us and we sat for around 10 minutes before getting any attention. I guess we didn’t fit the “profile” of this place. We left and went to Circa and had a blast instead
