We were visiting Texas from Idaho, and what more southern thing is there than chicken and waffles?? This is a tiny, out-of-the-way spot, but it had great reviews so we gave it a try. My goodness, I am so glad we did! That first bite of chicken made me close my eyes and just enjoy that heavenly moment. Crispy perfection. The waffle was amazing too. The syrup was their own special thing, just drizzled over everything. Mmmmm. Definitely recommend!

Good things come to those who wait. I’ve been frequenting Jaquay’s for about a year now and it remains the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. Dine-in and get the original chicken & waffles. The space is small and not fancy, and there’s often a 30 min or more wait for food, but the food is best fresh and well worth any wait. (I’m always so eager to eat that I keep forgetting to take a good photo. This one is mid-meal, already missing some chicken).

As a newcomer to the area, I was on the hunt for some good, comforting food and Jaquay’s Chicken did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, the warm, welcoming service from the Owners made me feel right at home.The chicken was perfectly seasoned and fried to golden perfection, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I also tried the dirty rice and corn, both of which were packed with flavor and cooked just right. But the real stars of the meal? The fried biscuits and cinnamon rolls. The fried biscuits were hands-down the best I’ve ever had, and the cinnamon rolls were soft, sweet, and absolutely amazing.If you’re looking for delicious food and great hospitality, Jaquay’s Chicken is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Jaquay’s Chicken and Waffles did not disappoint! We ordered the chicken and waffles along with wings, dirty rice, and okra, and every single bite was . The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the waffle was fluffy and buttery, the wings were packed with flavor, and the dirty rice and okra were seasoned just right. You can tell everything is made with care and love.
On top of the amazing food, Katrina absolutely MADE the experience. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Her energy and hospitality were top-tier and really completed the whole meal.
If you’re looking for comfort food done right with great service to match, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

Literally in town to visit family from Fort Worth. I googled food near me and stumbled across Jaquays! I originally did take out but ended up eating and being blessed with good food and good atmosphere! Chicken fresh crispy and fire the waffle is everything! And I am not a waffle girly! The combo was fresh, fulfilling and with the drizzle you didnt even need syrup! I cleaned my plate real good! Met the owner and his wife and sister and it truly felt like my family made me a home cook meal. 10/10 100000 stars!!! If I could buy one and put it in Fort Worth I would definitely worth the drive!! If you’re looking for a good meal from people with love in their souls and tongs & spatulas this definitely the stop! Thank you

The ONLY ISSUES I see with this location is IT NEEDS NEON LIGHTS SIGNAGE A BANNER ECT. To let you know where is hidden gem is. The lady’s here are like FAMILY! This is a small off the beaten path restaurant. BUT!!! WHEN I TELL YOU THE FOOD IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST YOU WILL FIND !!!! They “biscuits” THESE THINGS ARE IN A LEAGUE OF THERE OWN ! You need them in your life . The DIRTY RICE FATHER GOD I PRAY YOU GOT THIS RICE IN HEAVEN !!! Next was the fried orkra. It would be basic if it wasn’t cooked to order .Very good .

They advertised a Superbowl party on Eventbrite. So, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to come out and support. I ordered both regular wings (no sauce) and garlic parmesan. My fav turned out to be the regular wings! They are wonderfully seasoned, no sauce needed! THEY EVEN TASTE GOOD COLD THE NEXT DAY! Oh and that lemonade was on point, maybe the best I’ve ever had. Jaquay and family, I enjoyed meeting you. Thank you for your contribution to good food and good fellowship!

Went by here a couple weeks ago and this place is still on my mind. They have THE BEST chicken and waffles I’ve ever had in my life. The chicken was perfectly fried, the waffles were dense but still light and fluffy. I was eating the waffles without the syrup, then I tried it with the syrup and it was pure perfection. I highly recommend making the trip and if you can eat at the restaurant I believe part of that greatness was eating it freshly made. This is a must visit restaurant.

Tried them out today and let me tell you something, I will be a lifelong customer. My wife and I sat outside in perfect weather and had the chicken and waffles. There was a little wait but it was very well worth it! The wings were really, really good. Seasoned very well, and the perfect crispiness. The waffles were good, but the sauce is the magic! And you CANNOT LEAVE THE RESTAURANT WITHOUT TRYING THE FRIED BISCUITS! They come with some of that magic sauce too. You WILL NOT regret trying them – or you may. Because you will want more. Try this place out – you will thank me later.
