One of my favorite authentic Japanese restaurants in town with so much variety of dishes ranging from comfort foods to high quality sushi. A hole in the wall izakaya style restaurant with a simple yet stylish interior and vibrant energy filled with locals who frequent the place. Service is quick and servers take care of guests with kindness and diligent care.

The perfect spot for authentic Japanese food. It is a smaller restaurant, but we got lucky getting a table before the crowd. The service was a little slow they seemed to only have one cook and server, but the food was worth the wait! We ordered two skinny rolls as appetizers (unagi & green onion and toro). For lunch we got two bentos the miso butterfish bento & the kitsune udon and shrimp tempura combo bowl. I will be coming back the next time I’m craving Japanese food!

The workers at this business have no aloha whatsoever. I asked for the bathroom code for My 10 year little brother who was on the brink of going in his pants and they said No customers only and denied him. So he had to go across the street in the park across the street with all the sketchy homeless people bathing in the bathroom and I had to go into the men’s room with him as a young woman endangering both of us. Can’t even let an innocent CHILD use the bathroom. Based on this experience alone, I would never eat here or tell any of my friends to. Heartless.

Good authentic Izakaya, but recently the prices have increased dramatically while portions of some dishes have shrunk by half. Sad to say it’s not very good value anymore.
