The ramen was truly amazing, the broth tasted amazing, the mochi was amazing, and the decoration truly represents Japanese culture. It’s just this indescribable feeling as if I was really in Japan. Overall, this is a truly amazing restaurant!

Let me start this review by stating that I love ramen. Probably from my childhood days of cup o noodles being a staple of my diet growing up and having that as lunch at school far more often than what was probably healthy. Getting back to the point here, I’ve never been a fan of miso ramen and Dosunco has done a fantastic job of converting me! While I still prefer tonkotsu I can appreciate the rich flavors and flawless preparation in Dosunco’s ramen. In a city where chic looking but flavor failing ramen spots litter the landscape, Dosunco provides a delicious and unassuming experience where you can just chill and enjoy a great meal. The staff are very friendly and you can tell the people making the food care that you have a great experience. I’m so happy I don’t have to drive to Orlando anymore for a quick ramen fix. I’m sure as they grow they will be able to upgrade the decor to make the fancier restaurant goers happy, but anyone in Tampa who loves ramen owes it to themselves to stop in here for a savory and enjoyable meal. I will say that this was some of the best pork belly I’ve had in my life!!! Double portion it!!! But Beware the Evil Dosunco with California Reaper!!! Not for the faint hearted!

Love this place. Very authentic, good portion size, and perfect noodles. Service is friendly and quick unless it’s really busy. Even then it’s only about a 10 minute wait.

This is easily the best ramen I have experienced in over a decade. In an era where 2026 food trends are leaning toward clean, high-craft flavors, this shop delivers a masterclass in balance. The broth is liquid gold—deeply complex and satisfying without needing to be heavy.
The absolute highlight, however, is the marinated egg. It is flawlessly executed with a custardy, jam-like yolk that has clearly been seasoned to perfection. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a fantastic destination for friends and family. Whether you are a long-time enthusiast or just looking for a high-quality meal with loved ones, this spot is a must-visit. I’ll be returning purely for that bowl!
The server was absolutely awesome too!
(I’ll add their name after I go back)

Hands down the best ramen in the area! Service is fast and nice every time. But the highlight will always be the amazing ramen, especially the Shoyu ramen. I have been here at least half a dozen times, and it is consistently amazing. And the Gachas are fun to check out while waiting for your food!

This is my most favorite place to eat in all of Tampa and the best ramen and gyoza I’ve ever had anywhere.
I always get their shoyu ramen and often get either extra pork or bamboo when I’m extra hungry. Everyone is always so nice here and the atmosphere is always a very relaxing, but engaging place to eat.
I highly recommend their gyoza, shoyu ramen, mochi, and their very cool gacha machines. There’s also a cute place outside to eat on especially nice nights!

I had a huge hankering for Udon noodles and tried this place out. I got the tempura udon and added an egg. I really wanted the crepe cake but they were out! So I got the green tea mochi instead which was good.
Cute gatchapon corner reminded me of Japan
