I’ll start by saying many, including me at first, will pass this place as it’s not fancy or updated. But i was hungry today and I love Asian food for lunch, especially hibachi, so i figured I’d give it a try… I tried the other Chinese food place in the mall and wasn’t impressed.

While it may not look like much walking by, i can say the service is friendly and the food was very good for a mall restaurant.

I ordered the chicken and shrimp. Both tasted fresh, they grill on order, a slight bit spicy, which i liked. The yellow rice while plain was also good, considering i don’t usually order anything but pork fried rice. My order came with a white sauce which i didn’t think I’d like but was tasty as well.

I decided to review and take a pic half way through my meal, so you do get a good portion of food. Took rest home.

1 star off for lack of decor and for entree not coming with pork fried rice. As for decor they’re just starting off and I’m sure they’ll improve. Wish them luck because food was good.

Give them a try! Way better in my opinion than the other place in the mall.

Food is tasty but overcharged. Apparently prices on board do not include vegetables and even without, it’s more expensive than Toyo on the corner. Board says $1 (per order) to add vegetables yet charged double that, an extra unaccountable $4 on 2 trays.

Also ordering was a hassle as lady didn’t even comprehend what I was saying yet by the end understood enough to tap prices on board tho numbers never added up.

I say save half your money and order Toyo outside the mall, near street entr. Their rice isn’t as good but even vegetable Lo Mein is like $6.

Went back a couple weeks ago and though prices were truer to that described on menu (paid just under $20 for 2 Hibachi chicken with vegetables added), trays were smaller, they skimped out on vegetable and food had too many issues: the plate that I shared with my mom had tasty chicken but everything else tasted like flavored oil overkill which was unappetizing and my dad stated everything in his was dry and salty.

With so many issues, really doubt that I would consider again.

The worst Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to! I saw the guy get food he had already cooked and threw it on the grill to heat it up it was disgusting.

I’ve seen this place for years and just never gave it a chance to try it.Now I was a little sketched out about the cleanliness of the place BUT When I say this was the best “Japanese/Chinese” food I have ever had I mean it! The chicken was so tender the rice was PERFECT! I will never go anywhere else but here if I want something like Chinese food! THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM!

Very upsetting! This isn’t real Japanese food. ..not even close. This was my go to for semi healthy food. .. white rice, chicken and cabbage. This plate calls for that and broccoli isn’t of cabbage and they completely skipped the veggies!! Never again.

This place may seem convenient while you’re shopping but save yourself the trouble and eat somewhere else, my daughter got serious food poisoning.

Please save yourself don’t eat here. This is the worst hibachi I have ever had. Three of us ate a few bites and we all threw the food away. If I could give a zero star I would.

Food was a frozen block. Smothered in a bad sauce. You could taste the freezer burn. Also asked for no vegetables and still got vegetables. If I could give negative stars I would. Couldn’t even eat half the meal.

First time trying and my impression is decent. The meal is standard mall food. If you are looking to find high quality restaurant hibachi food you will be disappointed but for the price, amount of food, and the quickness it is done in you will be happy. Staff was friendly and for a quick fix for a low price I would recommend this place.
