The hostess/cashier lady with the black hair and black, round glasses was SO sweet and nice. Especially to my son, she gave him a little car and was very polite throughout our visit. I’m happy this place is close by. Food hits, too. Vegtable tempura is AMAZING, the sweet potato is my favorite.

Teriyaki chicken fried rice with 2 sushi rolls. One of which was the 911 and I thought it would be spicier than it was. It was very mild. I wish they had written on the box or separated the rolls we got bc we were having a hard time figuring out which was which. The gentleman who Ho took our order didn’t give me much eye contact upon ordering and seemed distracted by his phone or something. That was a bit of a bummer. Otherwise. The food was great. We will be back

This is my FAVORITE Japanese restaurant! I live about 40 minutes away from Marion, but when I am wanting Japanese cuisine this is where I will always choose. The employees are all friendly, the atmosphere is calm and nice to dine in! My husband and I love the freshness and flavor of their food. It’s absolutely delicious!! 10/10 recommend!

Im a chef in Asheville, and I work for a very good group. I work in Marion to help my parents on my days off, I love to visit this place. Excellent food guys, you have a gem in Marion that rivals every Japanese hibachi restaurant in Asheville. Support it, enjoy it, tell a friend… trust me.

An amazing place to eat Japanese food. The food is always fresh and the sushi is the best that I’ve found in McDowell County. The staff is always so polite and respectful of their customers. I would recommend this place to anyone. The menu is in the following pics.

I’ve lived nearby and ordered from this place dozens of times. The new owners are TERRIBLE. The food was borderline inedible, my steak and mushrooms had more mushrooms and fat than steak, and my stomach did not agree with it either. I will never go back

The quality of food has decreased over the years. Staff has changed. Even the fried rice has changed. Spring rolls are not made in-house. The scallops are imitation…very tough and not the texture of real scallops. The staff showed me the invoice from their food order, “scallops ” were shown as “brand x scallops medallions “. Probably skate or shark. Buyer beware. The decor and seating hasn’t changed in years. Hard booth seating with no pads. Functional but not necessarily comfortable. The staff is generally friendly and aim to please.
