This place is so fun. I recommend doing the sake flight. I wish I remembered his name, but the wine sommelier who went over every kind of sake as you received them was a joy to meet! Dessert was my favorite part of the meal.

Best experience last night at Japanese bocce club! The atmosphere is incredible, elegant while family friendly. The sushi is so fresh and the wagu steak was tender as can be. Best of all, the chef and team accommodated to our severe dairy allergy with caution and care. We are so grateful!!

Japanese Bocce Club feels like a concept in search of an identity. It’s giving “diner meets Japanese fusion” with a splash of forced spice, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t deliver where it counts—flavor.

The spicy cucumber salad? Surprisingly good. But the chopped baby gem was a hard pass—interesting idea, not so great execution. The sushi was forgettable, and the kids’ chicken teriyaki came with a grand total of three tiny slices. (Come on, even kids know when they’re getting shortchanged.)

The highlight was the wagyu beef skewers, but even those tasted more broiled than grilled, which felt like a missed opportunity for something truly special.

The staff is friendly and the indoor atmosphere is decent, while the bocce ball outside adds a fun twist—but sadly, the overall experience just didn’t live up to the hype. For a spot tied to the Boca Raton Hotel, it should (and could) be doing a lot better.

Service was great, but that’s expected as it’s located inside the Boca Raton resort.

Food is also great. Chefs tasting which includes one roll and 7 pieces of nigiri if I’m remembering correctly was delicious.

Only downside was us coming earlier than our reservation and the table not being ready, but I can’t fault the restaurant on that.

The hostess did have us go to the bar which was a blessing in disguise, because the wine selection is pretty nice here.

I was so excited to try the Japanese Bocce Club during our stay at the Boca Raton! We made a reservation for 9:00 P.M. and it was PACKED. There was a wait time, but nothing too extreme. The design is beautiful, and the couches were extremely comfortable, but it was pretty loud which made it difficult to hear. Nothing came out notably fast, but I was never wondering what happened to our order. The food itself was EXCEPTIONAL and greatly exceeded my expectations. We tried a variety of things and they were all scrumptious! I highly recommend the Glazed Sticky BBQ Ribs (or something like that). They were packed with flavour, and the BBQ sauce was amazing! All of the appetizers, sushi, and desserts were great, but the miso soup was a little salty for my taste. Overall, this restaurant was delicious and I highly recommend! We will definitely be back in the future!

I love Bocce club, I have been at least 6 times (that I can remember). The service, ambiance and food are amazing and consistent. Fish is always extremely fresh and delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the wagyu crispy rice, this along with their nigiri specifically always brings me back here. One of my favorite restaurants.

What a disappointment….

Utensils were not clean, they didn’t clean the tables after our appetizers, and the restaurant was very loud.

As for food:
Salmon sashimi – terrible! For $10 a piece, the salmon was VERY fishy, almost tasted lox-like.

Scallop dragon roll – the roll was fresh, but I didn’t taste any pistachios, butter or lime.

Teriyaki ribeye and sticky ribs – was decently flavorful. Probably the only redeeming feature of the night.

Mochi – terrible, had to spit it out.

Unfortunately we will not be coming back here or recommending this to anyone

Came to Bocce this past weekend to celebrate a birthday. First, the service was great. We sat quickly, our server (Hayley – I hope I got the spelling) was extremely nice and attentive, and the rest of the Bocce team were the same. Second, the food was decent. I think the flavors were on point, but was disappointed that the sushi kept falling apart. Third, Bocce is a bit loud but nothing terrible. The outside looks very nice, and would be enjoyable in cooler months. Overall, I do think Bocce was worth it and would go back.
