Absolutely love this place! I buy their jars of teriyaki sauce every time I am in. This is what seattle style teriyaki is all about!

I visited here for the first time today! The staff was friendly, and the food was really delicious! I’ll definitely visit again. There’s a reason why the locals recommended this place to me!

Worse Mongolian beef in my life. Never had Mongolian beef with broccoli, carrots, and mushrooms and no crispy rice under. Doesn’t taste like any Mongolian beef I’ve ever had before either. Beef was to thick and super rough and chewy. My order came out in 5 minutes aswell which makes me wonder if it’s all pre made or just cooked too hot, I don’t know. I might try the chicken teriyaki sometime just because it’s close to my house but I’m leaving this plate on the table after a few bites and going to a amazing place in Snohomish instead.

The place closes to Machias where I can get my Bubble tea and my daughter can get sushi and miso soup.

It was painfully obvious the woman there had no manners or the ability to acquire any. I left after a 2 minute exchange with her. The older gentleman appeared cordial.

The food is a great price in this economy, and the amount of food you get is great. The tables are sometimes sticky/uncleaned, but very rarely. Each dish comes with a variety of sauces and spices which is also nice.

The fact that this place has an average of 4 stars due to service is beyond me. Every time I’ve gone in they’ve been very kind. They aren’t looking to get personal with their service, but this isn’t that type of dining experience anyhow. The food is absolutely phenomenal, hands down our favorite spot in town since trying it. Perfect amount of spice, nothing is too heavy, and the flavor is on point with everything we’ve tried so far. Give these folks a shot, and don’t degrade a local small business based on your sensitive expectations around transactional interactions, these guys are great!

I ordered the Mongolian Beef and the Chicken Yakisoba. It came with one salad that was ok. First thing I noticed is that the prices are higher than other Teriyaki’s in the area, because the portions are so small. Taste and authenticity were also lacking as well. My to go order did not come with napkins or utensils. I did ask for some spicy sauce (of any kind) and the lady pointed me to the $1.50 container that she could provide for me. As a first time customer, I am returning to Midori (downtown) right away. Too bad, I really wanted to like the place.
