First time coming and definitely the last. Waited about 10mins to sit no big deal. The person who sat us is also the person who took my drink order 8mins later and it took another 6mins to get a tea and a apple juice. He finally came back after another 10mins and took out order. Got the pineapple chicken and clear soup.
Got the soup 15 mins later. 15 mins to get soup that they have to do nothing to make.
It is a beef broth they put green onions and mushrooms in. I have never had this when they add both onions and mushrooms just before walking out to the table but they are usually very thin slices of each not a mushroom and that is just cut in quarters and green onions are supposed to be very very thin sliced.
Finally get the main course. They cook the way over breaded chicken and added it to the sauce with raw mushrooms quarters, thin sliced carrots that were not cooked and pineapple that was still cold in the middle. The green peppers were very largely cut up and not cooked either. The rice was old and very dry.
The waiter only came back by after I was ready for the check. Took him 10 min to bring change and a box back.
They don’t have a kids menu and they changed $2.50 for a Juicy Juice apple juice box

From A Unique Perspective
I tried this place for the first time yesterday afternoon with my cousin and overall the food was good! I loved the mushrooms, shrimp, crab ragoon, etc and we had a attentive waitress. There was so much to choose from on the menu so I’ll definitely have to come back another time and try something different. I liked the soba noodles but I think next time I’m going to get the udon noodles because I like my noodles thicker. My only issue was that the booth seats that we sat at were so low to the table but the restaurant itself was pretty inside. I would recommend this spot if you like authentic Japanese food!

Japan inn has been a go to spot for me an my friends for yearsss. Food is good for the price. Use to be clean inside , but has fell off. You guys need to clean those bathrooms , and fix that roach problem last visit there was 2 roaches in the booth , and one in the bathroom MAJOR turn off!

This sushi restaurant exceeded my expectations! The customer service was top-notch – our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. But what really stole the show was the sushi itself: fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Every piece was a delight to eat. Highly recommend for sushi lovers!

We ate lunch there today after church. The waitress was attentive and nice. The food was nothing special. In fact, I couldn’t finish my food because the sushi tasted odd. Also, the women’s restroom needs some major cleaning. The base of the toilet turned my stomach because it was so disgusting. We left quickly after seeing that. We do not plan to return to this restaurant.

We got the all you can eat sushi. Services was terrible. She hardly checked on us, the sushi didnt come with ginger and wasabi. The soy sauce was out at the table. Our drinks were empty for most of the meal. The crab ragoons were soft and mostly mushy cream cheese. The sushi rolls were incredibly small, with little to no flavor. And the white fish had an extremely fishy taste to it. So so disappointed in this as it used to be one of our favorite places throughout the years and has clearly fallen off. Super upsetting for a meal to be $17.95 and I feel like i could get better sushi at the local kroger.

This restaurant serves Sushi and Hibachi style food. They do not cook it in front of you, so don’t expect the show. Food is good and cooked fresh. Service can be a little slow during the busier times, but I guess that is to be expected.
