Had a delicious first meal here tonight and I highly recommend Jao Thai Kitchen. As a tourist in the area I was looking for a great Thai spot and was glad I popped into this cozy strip mall restaurant. I had my go-to Massaman curry with chicken and it was so good! They served it in a cast iron bowl which meant it stayed piping hot until I was done — brilliant idea. Friendly staff, served quickly, and a great atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and drop in for a delicious meal.

I’ve heard the food is good here for years and just never thought about it when we were going out. We loved the Jalapeño Roll! I had the stir fried clear noodles. And the table shared pineapple fried rice. They had gluten free options which makes it so much easier for me to eat. We will be back! There is so much more to explore on their menu.

The best Thai and Sushi restaurant in Melbourne, FL. We are Thais and have tried every other Thai restaurant in the area. This is the place we choose. The food is great. The service is excellent. People that work here actually care about their customers. The restaurant is clean and quiet.

I started my meal with a refreshing frozen mango boba tea that truly impressed me—the boba maintained its soft, chewy texture even with the slushed ice.
Next, I enjoyed a generous portion of Thai Fried Rice, seasoned so perfectly that I didn’t even need to use of soy sauce.
The service was excellent, with a server who was both polite and prompt, enhancing the overall experience.
However, the highlight of my visit was the Mango Sticky Rice. The mangoes were perfectly ripe, their natural sweetness balancing beautifully with the toasted sesame and creamy coconut milk-infused rice. Every bite was a delightful blend of flavors and textures. I thoroughly enjoyed this culinary experience and look forward to returning for more exceptional dishes.

Came here because another place was closed and I couldn’t be happier for the re-route to such an amazing Thai spot! Tried a few restaurants in the surrounding area and I think this one by far is my favorite. We got the Fire Dragon roll, a eel handroll and the best damn Khao Soi ever. I think they said their spice levels are 1-7 and the Khao Soi comes at 3 normally. My bf loves really really spicy food so he asked for a 5. (I talked him down from 7 simply because I wanted to steal some bites and not burst into flames) We were kindly brought a spice cart to add more spice if he wanted.
He added a dash of some chili powder and it definitely gave it even more punch. Through the sweat and sniffles it gave us, it was still SO flavorful and delicious. The sushi was very good. Don’t get me wrong. But this review belongs to the Khao Soi. Can’t wait to come back here to try more things.

The food here is really good but I have to say I’m really upset with some actions this business has taken in the last year. I order delivery from here all the time and I get yellow curry. It’s $20 and they used to send it in a 32oz container with a side of rice. Now they send it in a 16oz container with half a container of rice, the price is still $20. I understand the economy isn’t easy right now but this is purely taking advantage of your customer. Just thought you should know this if you’re thinking about dining here.

Joa Thai Kitchen has great service and the food was on point! Went for lunch and they offered a wide range of options! Got a bubble tea with a Sushi Thai Combo bento box that came with a soup or salad and got extra salmon sashimi on the side. Really enjoyed this restaurant and will be returning!
