Food is so good. Black owned. Service was great. She accepts cash app and Apple Pay for those who don’t have cash. I Definitely recommend you won’t be disappointed. Also wait time is a little long but trust it’s worth it!

Jannah’s Soul food is a new ” Black owned ” business that is friendly, welcoming, and the portion size is definitely more than enough to come back. Very affordable pricing as well. We traveled from Delaware and will definitely be returning. My family and I wish you Great Success, Longevity with your new business.

Wonderful food and service! After my horrible experience at Sister Who Cook, I was determined to find a Black owned establishment where the service and food were of equally high quality and found it here! Definitely coming back next time in Philly!!

The food is OK. Her hand is very heavy when it comes to seasoning the meat it’s too salty. The meat is salty.

When I tell you… this food was so good! Service was amazing and I can definitely tell it was made to order. Jannah is the sweetest woman and we were only here for a few hours in Philly, went to about 4 other soul food places and just didn’t like the vibe or how the food looked but I’m so glad we ended up at Jannah’s. When we come back to Philly I will be sure to stop here again.
My mom and I both had the fried wings and we got yams, cabbage, and mac n cheese (which I think was the best). She even gave us a sample of the whiting fish and a sample of the sweet chili sauce to taste with the wings. Don’t get me started on the cornbread. I will definitely tell everyone I know about her restaurant

Initial thought. “It don’t make no sense for this food to be that good”. I ordered 2 platters they were both well proportionate. The fried shrimps, fried fish, Mac, cabbage and potato salad were all really good. The only con is the wait time but it’s not worth taking away stars because she was upfront. Honestly so good, I will definitely be back like everything was good for real.

By far the BEST soul food spot I’ve been to so far. The food was amazing! I got the whiting, Mac n cheese, and yams. My boyfriend got the sweet chili wings, Mac, and mean green beans. All we have to say is flavor all through the B****! The portion sizes were insane we could eat this twice, the staff were friendly, honestly this is going to be our new soul food spot! They even added two wings to my whiting platter because I requested it! Honestly they’re a 11/10

It was my first time having soul food and it exceeded any expectations that I had! The man who prepared our food was polite and made everything fresh. I will definitely be coming back and happy to support a black owned business!

I ordered fried chicken and fried fish from Jannah’s for a housewarming. The food was on time, fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The establishment even offered to deliver for me when I was running late for pickup. Considering the personable customer service and excellent food quality, I will definitely use Jannah’s again!
