Outstanding!! Without a doubt, the most exceptional steak we’ve ever experienced. The ambiance is relaxed with an IU flair .
The servers are very attentive, friendly, and ensure your experience is one to remember. You will not be disappointed. I do, however, suggest you look at the menu prior to your visit.

World famous but I’ve never heard a soul recommend this place. For a place serving $50+ steaks the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. I understand in the high end food industry less is more, but our meal felt extremely plain and under seasoned. Cocktails aren’t a menu option either which disappoints. Very underwhelming. I assume this establishment has cult following to keep it going, I could not explain it any other way. Place should really consider a revamp or closing its doors. Good luck with your experience if you choose to try it like we did. Will not think twice about this place.
Wait staff was accommodating

Janko’s Little Zagreb is a true throwback, a classic old-school steakhouse with a lively, no-frills atmosphere and food that pulls no punches. If you’re hungry, you’re in luck. Portions here are enormous, from the perfectly seasoned steaks to the surprisingly excellent crab legs, which are sweet, meaty, and generously served.
The menu keeps it simple, but don’t let that fool you. The kitchen cooks hotter than described. A medium here is closer to well done. Still, the flavor and quality make up for it.
Expect a bustling and spirited vibe, with laughter, sizzling platters, and the clink of steak knives cutting into hearty, satisfying fare. It is not quiet dining, but it is memorable, indulgent, and very much alive.
Great for big appetites and steakhouse purists. Just come ready to eat and maybe to talk a little louder

It’s either a little rich for my blood, or you have to spend well over $100 to get good steak. The baked potatoes come out with nothing on them, very basic. Butter is on the table. The salad is just the leaf greens, red cabbage and carrots with a little bit of dressing… no tomatoes, no cheese, very basic as well. Thr rolls were okay, they grill them or something, they had little burnt spots on them. The steak had so much gristle in it, we had to spit out more then we actually ate. Had over half a steak left on the plate and didn’t even ask for a box. Probably won’t be back, longhorn is better for the same price. (The picture included is what we left when they asked if we needed a box.)

The steak was something to be desired. Steak was seasoned too late, butter was either not used when cooking or not enough at all. Baked potato is plain, but butter (packaged) is provided. Is it worth the money? No.
Longhorn makes better steak, bigger portions, quieter atmosphere, and lower price.

The food was perfect. I had the kabab and others in the party had ribeye and large filet. All prepared perfectly. The buns were grilled and tasty. Nice wine selection with generous tastes prior to final selection.
The dining area is soooo dark and I typically like a cozy atmosphere yet it was hard to see the menu. The booth I was in had a loose back and any time we moved or the people behind us moved, it was uncomfortable for both parties.
The wait staff friendly and genuine.
Overall a positive experience!

The food was delicious! My filet was tender and cooked to perfection. The servers were attentive and courteous and friendly. The ambiance was more Western bar than Eastern European steakhouse. The food more than made up for the decor, though.

This establishment was highly recommended to my circle, and I concur with the sentiment; however, the sheer volume of patrons necessitated a preliminary waiting period merely to secure a position on the waiting list, which is quite amusing indeed. Nevertheless, we were eventually seated. The steaks proved to be quite delectable, albeit exceedingly generous in portion; one of my companions was unable to complete his sirloin, a rather lamentable display. Beyond this, the prices were elevated, though such is to be anticipated, I presume.

Great food, great service, and great place. We reserved online, were seated right away, and had a wonderful experience. We both ordered the filet, one of us the 7 oz and the other had the 11 oz. I had the salad with the vinegarette dressing, and my hubby had the beef stew soup. Everything was great!

I’ll be the odd reviewer out but I don’t understand the appeal of this place. Perhaps it is too casual for my liking based on how i view steakhouses. The tacky decor, pop music, constant foot traffic and noise, so many people handling food without gloves or hair pinned back. It was a very underwhelming experience.
As for the food, the steaks were cooked exactly medium rare, which is great. The steaks were also lackluster with flavor. The filet was very dry, the ribeye was decent. The rolls were so dry and provided with cold, unspreadable butter causing the roll to crumble. I wish I had ordered the crab as it looked great at another table.
I enjoy the atmosphere of fine dining and steakhouses in Indy so this experience was quite off-putting. Overall, this place is way pricey for the food and atmosphere provided.
