Came here for breakfast. Place was busy but was able to sit down right away. Wife ordered French toast and bacon and eggs. I ordered the breakfast burrito. They all tasted good. I wouldn’t mind trying one of their skillets. Overall food was good people was nice. I would eat here again if in neighborhood, but I would not go out of my way to go there.

Janie’s is a great little café and breakfast spot. Has that nice classic American old school feel and friendly vibe which i love. The Waitresses are real kind and friendly and do an excellent job serving the people. Now the food i tell y’all is absolutely delicious and certified no doubt! The people in that kitchen are doing it right,bless them cook’s. And the portions are very nice and plentiful! This is truly a homestyle cooking place y’all i recommend and y’all must try!

I work across the street and havean hour lunch and wanted to go sit down and eat a salad. First it took 30 35 minutes to get my salad. Then I had to ask for a to go box because I wasn’t going to be able to finish my lunch. A waitress came and brought my food. Just threw it on the table along with my ticket and walked away. Very rude. Then I told another waitress what was going on and how I felt about it and she told me that lady was the owner. Then I overhear them talking about me while I am trying to eat my lunch. At that moment, I could not sit there anymore. This was a horrible experience. I will never go back.

Waitress was very kind. The food was terrible- bacon was hard as a rock- recooked it and it was basically raw. $16 a plate which is crazy to me. I was so sad bc usually hole in the walls are the best! My Benedict also came out with hard boiled eggs .. such a bummer cus my daughter wanted to try it out for the first time and I’ve been waiting for years because we all love egg Benedict in our family… And unfortunately, it was not a good introduction.

I went in for breakfast early, and the food portions were large for a single person, and while the food was hot/fresh, it was average or just lightly above for the particular dish I ordered at $17.81 before tip. The place opens at 6:00A.M. so it is nice if you’re out of your house before the sun rises. I would say that most of the menu is pretty expensive for what’s offered. One example is $5.00 for a side of hashbrowns or a side of green chili. The service wasn’t necessarily bad, just minimal. It seemed clean indoor and quiet, so that’s a plus.

Went in with my Mom and my daughter the other day and it was a breath of fresh air. Great food, great atmosphere, great everything really. Loved my chicken fried steak skillet too. Oh man it was yum!

The kids wanted pancakes and we thought about going to IHOP but decided to spend money on a local restaurant. Janie’s was the perfect spot! It’s cozy but still has a lot of tables (mostly 4 person booths). We ordered kids pancakes (cute shape and face!), regular pancakes, a smothered burrito and huevos rancheros. Everything was yummy and portions were large. I was especially glad that the green chile was vegetarian since I don’t eat pork and often can’t order huevos rancheros at other restaurants. All the staff was very friendly and especially nice to our toddler. We’ll definitely be back!

I walked in and immediately felt welcome. That “hometown diner” kind of welcome. The friendly servers all helped each other and ran the floor like a well oiled machine. Food was delicious and came out fast. Coffee was excellent and was never empty. I would not hesitate to recommend Janie’s and will definitely be back!

Stopped here with my sisters and mom after a morning of traveling. Absolutely delicious food, huge portions, and reasonably priced. Food was made exactly as ordered which was greatly appreciated. Coffee was frequently refilled. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean single stall bathroom. Overall great experience!!
