Unfortunately I ordered to BBQ Combo and all the meats seemed to be Microwaved to reheat making it stretchy and chewy. The sides we’re average, and the ” regulars ” make a scene if your sitting at their table.

Mixed opinions… good service. Some food was good. Everyone loved thwir fish and salads. I was so excited to eat BBQ… but man oh man. The BBQ was awful. Tasted like 3 day old sliced roast beef and my baked potato was cold and hard. The other food was good… but why not call yourself a diner and ditch the BBQ.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch based on Google Maps ratings when we were in town. We both liked the menu offerings, so I had the sliced brisket lunch plate and he had the chopped brisket sandwich. There was only one other diner when we came in, so our orders were taken pretty quickly. Took a bit longer than 15 minutes before our food came out, and after that, the waitress never came back to check on us….for anything. There was no smoke ring present on the sliced brisket, nor was there any hint of it having spent any time in a smoker. It was more like something I’d fix in the crockpot. My husband’s sandwich was a bit better, with enough sauce to cover the meat completely. His iced tea glass went empty about 5 minutes after he got his lunch, but as I said, the waitress never reappeared. For the prices we paid, I don’t think we’ll be back for any more. I do wish them improvement and better days ahead. Cheers!

First time visit! Everything was delicious, hot and fresh! I especially enjoyed the brown beans, best I ever had!
The waitress was superb. She never slowed down. She handled the whole dining room, took phone orders AND the drive thru all by herself.. . She knew the locals by name and their orders. Owners need to give her RAISE and don’t ever take her for granted!

Excellent service. Our server, really the only server there, was everywhere taking care of so many people. Excellent attitude while doing so with a smile on her face. I had the fried catfish and o boy, it was awesome. My friend had the fish & rib combo, but they let him switch it to a hot link. They had a bunch of little quirky signs everywhere that were neat. If you are driving through this little town in Oklahoma, don’t hesitate to stop. You won’t regret it. I know that I’ll be back.

Great “hole in the wall” style cafe to get all your favorite comfort foods. My family and extended family all stopped there one evening, and although they were very busy, all the food was hot, fresh, and very tasty. The BBQ I ordered was great and my sister in laws indian taco looked AMAZING! If you want a great meal and love to support local businesses, give Janice’s a try!
