I frequently visit this restaurant whenever I’m craving authentic, traditional Korean homemade soups and comforting dishes that evoke the flavors of home. There’s something incredibly endearing about this place—its humble, unpretentious charm and the warm, welcoming atmosphere make you feel as if you’re dining at a family member’s home. The service here is also something special; it’s reminiscent of the care and attention you’d receive from a beloved aunt, with staff who genuinely make you feel at ease.
During our recent visit, we ordered the 우거지 해장국 (beef and cabbage hangover soup), paired with a bottle of Soju, setting the tone for a deeply meaningful evening. We were there to reflect on the memories of a close friend who had recently passed away. The rich, earthy flavors of the soup, with its tender beef and perfectly seasoned broth, brought us not only comfort but also a sense of togetherness as we shared stories, laughter, and emotions.

The meal, coupled with the warm atmosphere, allowed us to indulge fully in both the food and our conversation, creating a poignant yet cathartic experience. Even though we were soaked from sweats, it only added to the mood as we savored each spoonful, almost as if the delicious, hearty food was helping to wash away our sorrows, if only for a brief moment.
This restaurant continues to be a place where I not only enjoy delicious meals but also find solace and a sense of peace in the comforting atmosphere. It has become more than just a dining spot—it’s a sanctuary for reflection and meaningful connections.

The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. We had a nice experience with the service– they were welcoming and patient when we had questions about the menu.

The menu consisted of many “nourishing” stews and soups. There were also stir fry dishes and fried fish options as well. The food was very comforting with a touch of “home-cooked” familiarity. Our soups stayed piping hot. From the chicken to the pork, they were all fall-off-the-bone tender.

I dropped in for a quick bite one Tuesday evening and was blown away with how fresh and the portion I received. I ordered the Bibimbap and it was served with small 5 bonchon sides! I fell in love with the seaweed side. In the end, I definitely needed a Togo box. The service was attentive and friendly. They served up a happy customer here l!

We just visited this restaurant again after a while and the food is really good and fresh—one of my favorite Korean traditional restaurants with decent price and portions.

The last couple of times I’ve come here, the soup has been really good. However, this time, the beef hangover soup had overcooked or overly ripe cabbage, which I didn’t like. In my opinion, they have the best seafood hot stone rice compared to anywhere else; the aroma is a perfect balance of meat, rice, and vegetables. They also serve really tender, flavorful, and juicy neckbone soup. It feels like homemade food—comforting and balanced with deep flavors.

Had the chicken soup
The ingredients inside such as the prune, garlic and ginseng was too small. So small it was hard to find. Taste was just alright.

Homemade style Korean food. We ordered seafood pancake, Seolleongtang, and Haejang-Guk. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the food in here are not like fancy, but you may taste homemade taste. Services are nice, also asked if the meals alright.

Been here 5-6x while in and out of the city.
Most of Gwinnett’s standard of Korean food has declined recently with the exception of a few restaurants. This is one.

If you have a Daegu-style palette, spend your time here. This place is loaded with old heads for their approach to traditional dishes with a traditional taste (pre-80’s). This is not your usual Korean spot that some people are used to. Take your parents and grandparents here.

Great ambiance. Classic Korean restaurant vibes. If you need something, speak up. You’re here to vibe and eat fantastic food. Don’t be shy. Leave your ego out the door. You’re here for the food. If you want to be buttered up with modern service.. look you’re at a HQ traditional food restaurant. You see that paradox? Fix that mentality. Lol. Best 은대구조림 (Eundaegu Jorim) in the county. Quote me on that.

Authentic Korean food that makes homey classics. Boiling hot soups, good quality banchan, and that classic ahjoomah service. If you’re new to Korean cuisine, I would recommend you come with an experienced friend, but I would also recommend this to anyone who just likes good homemade food. The gamjatang (pork bone soup) was especially good.
