My parents like to dine here while in town and I joined them for lunch. Lunch menu was great and portions were large. I’m not usually a soup person but the Soondubu was very delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Food was out promptly. Very neat and clean inside.

Staff are very attentive and the service was quick. . Food was flavorful as it was in South Korea ( been there for 3-4 weeks). I traveled solo and tried to take pics of the food, the staff saw it and offered to take the photo for me. Definitely recommended! Will come back when i revisit Utah next time!

Bugolgi was one of the worst I’ve ever tried at Korean restaurants, dry and flavorless. The pork blood soup was delicious and the small intestine dish was decent. Side dishes are below average. Overall average experience

I ordered kimchi soup to go and I was honestly so impressed.
The flavor was amazing — rich, spicy, and very authentic. It really tasted like real Korean home-style food, not watered down at all.
Even as a to-go order, everything was still fresh and delicious. You can tell they really care about the quality and flavor.
I’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Korean food! ✨

The new location is beautiful inside! Clean, sleek and very inviting!
Great lunch menu.
The side dishes were very good. To me, good side dishes are a sign of a solid Korean restaurant.

First time going! And honestly the price you pay for the size of the portion is 10/10. I feel like there’s a lot of dishes that can be shared between two people. Food was hot, fresh, flavorful, delicious and came with some banchan options which we loved.
The service was great and the person who took our order was so charismatic and kind to us.
We all ordered something different and it was all so delicious.
I don’t usually eat beef but when I asked if I could sub the beef with tofu they did it for me really easy and I’m super thankful for it!
I can’t wait to go again!

Jang Soo Jang offers, in my opinion, some of the best Korean food in Salt Lake City. The restaurant is simple, elegant, very clean with a nice atmosphere. The lunch combos offered are generous portions and very reasonable priced. The menu offers a great variety of typical Korean dishes. The metal cups and metal chop sticks are typical of Koran restaurants! Cool! The service was fast and the waiters/owners were very attentive and very nice. We had the lunch special, the Dolsot Bibimbap and the Soondubu Chigae. All fantastic! Definitely a place to recommend.

It was a surprise to find a Korean Restaurant in SLC that did not focus on Korean BBQ. JSJoffered authentic korean soups and dishes. They all tasted good. We dined there twice once for dinner and once for lunch. The food consistently tasted good. Service
was great. You must try. Try their YukGaeJang soup. It will make you sweat in a vey good way

It’s consistently always good. The Korean lady taking orders didn’t know English, but she is always really nice and polite and friendly. We always go eat here whenever we visit Salt Lake City. Basically everything on the menu tastes great, and it’s a lot of food. I usually can barely finish it, or I sometimes need a to go box. Great quality/price ratio.
Never had problems with parking or having to wait to get a table.
