Delicious breeads and pastries and very good coffee. I only visited once but am looking forward to coming back. The menu is small but looks very good The bakery kitchen has windows viewable from the sidewalk and it is fun to watch the staff work. The tables seat two or four;
there is bar seating as well. There are a few tables outside when the weather is better. They have a few high chairs. Wheelchairs look like they can be accommodated. The parking lot is small and cramped. You may have to find a street place and walk a bit.

Everything I’ve picked up or eaten there has been incredible. They have very limited seating and you have to stand their waiting for your food and it’s very hard to hear. I would not say it is reasonably priced. It’s a little pricey, but you know for a special occasion, they’re baked goods are out of the world. The bread is yummy and I like their coffee drinks. I wish there was more area for seating when it’s summertime or nicer weather you can’t sit outside just be prepared that you’re probably not gonna find a parking space and you might need to park across the street and then walk over.

Cool little place across the river from the fan. It was packed and the staff handled it well! I got the chocolate chip pancakes and a mocha. Will def come back again. My only wish is there were outlets beneath the bar and maybe some blinds to be able to pull down as the bar is not facing the window so can make it hard to work remotely. Also the bathrooms are super cute. Well the one I went in Anyway . As a dog training company we love anything dogs!

Janet’s is the most magical and wonderful place one can eat at in Richmond, let alone the world! Every single thing on the menu is a HIT. I’ve had about 90% of both the breakfast and lunch menus at this point. Every bake good, A GRAND SLAM! Janie, one of the owners and main baker is a goddess. That woman knows bread and pastries unlike anyone you’ve ever met. Her ideas are flawless. The execution hits every time. What can’t she think of! Will, the other owner and the brains behind the hot food is insane. Truly he comes up with things I’ve never heard of or thought of and makes is unreal good. The two of them are a dream team. Their staff? Phenomenal. The most wonderful kind people you’ll ever meet. We are so lucky to have such a special spot here in RVA. While yes the lines can get long, and parking can be tricky, IT IS WORTH IT. Everyone puts so much love into this spot that you’ll understand why you need to keep coming back.

So may excellent options for baked goods! I think we enjoyed the sourdough cinnamon roll the most though! A wonderful balance to the sweetness made it one of my favorite cinnamon rolls. The line was packed as soon as they opened!

Wow what a killer breakfast pancake!! If you are a pancake person 10 out of 10 are we are pretty picky. And the Bacon was cooked perfectly. As for the everything avocado it was very fresh healthy light option with good flavor we especially loved the pickle beats! Last, but not least the latte was very good. Would even goes as far as saying, it was great! There is it… go check it out!

This cozy neighborhood spot is a GEM! The decor is both quirky and tasteful, and the staff were smiley and super friendly. Everyone working looked like they truly loved their job.

The recommendations were spot on: the tomato jam and avocado breakfast sammy on a croissant was perhaps the best breakfast I’ve had in the city, and the cinnamon bun had us muttering expletives. I can’t wait to go back and try their lunch sandwiches….. tomorrow.

Janet’s is amazing! Went here on a Saturday morning and was so impressed with the entire experience. The interior decorating appears to have been meticulously chosen for the shop, the staff was kind and welcoming, and the food/drink did not take long considering how busy it was. My wife and thoroughly enjoyed our first time here and will absolutely come back soon. Tip: buy an olive baguette if there are still some available – you won’t regret it!

Cute new cafe! Chocolate croissant was yummy, but would’ve been better heated up. Also got the seasonal eggnog latte (half sweet) and was also delicious! Plenty of seating and overall great vibes with nice employees

I wanted to love Janet’s. The first experience here was my husband getting an assortment of bakery for take out and we enjoyed the pastry minus the fruit tart (there was too much dough it over powered the berry flavor).

Anyway, returned to try it with a friend and there was a line out the door that moved pretty fast, there is limited seating, so when we could get a table it was dirty. The coffee was mid and it took a long time to receive/it came out after we had our food.

I also received the wrong pastry (which I only found out once I arrived back home), and I’m
pretty sure I was overcharged but was not provided a receipt sooooo overall not in a hurry to return. 🙁 Maybe they still need time to work out the kinks…

The Boursin & Carmelized onion sammy was delicious!
