We ordered Jane’s Platter, which came with chicken, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, cornbread, and two sides. We chose the mac & cheese and coleslaw, and added onion rings for good measure. Everything was unreal. The meats were perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with smoky flavour. The brisket and pulled pork were definite standouts, but honestly there wasn’t a single thing on the tray we didn’t enjoy. Even the sauces deserve a shoutout — they were all delicious and paired perfectly with the different meats.
The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and spacious, which made it a really comfortable place to sit and enjoy a big BBQ feast. The staff were friendly and everything felt well organized and relaxed.
If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would. The quality, flavour, and consistency are seriously impressive. Safe to say we’ll be back — probably sooner than our waistlines would recommend.
I had a pulled pork sandwich and the Cajun corn. The sandwich was really delicious; it came with the Carolina sauce and I doused it in their House BBQ Peach + Coffee sauce. This was all packaged up in a delicious bun that was lightly flour dusted and washed down with a light Pilsner. The corn was spiced up and tasted good.
The restaurant is brand new. It’s huge; there’s a bar; sit down area; high tops; and booths. These bathroom setup is good.
The only thing they need to work on is the weird QR code order setup – needs pictures of the food.
The food was absolutely on point, with the smoke in the brisket and the chicken wings being very apparent! We had brisket sliders which were fantastic with both of the in house BBQ sauces. The wings were fantastic with the BBQ rub and despite being smoked were still nice and juicy.
For sides we got a bucket of cornbread, which was moist and had a nice coconut sweetness. The deep fried pickle spears were crispy and flavorful from the batter and the pickles were hot and snappy inside!
All of this, along with two delicious bourbon iced teas and tip was only $55 at happy hour, which is honestly an unbelievable deal. We ended up brining home 4 pieces of cornbread and 6 pickle spears as well!
On top of all of the insane value and delicious food , the staff was wonderful! Attentive from the moment we walked in, gave us our choice of seating and had great recommendations, as well as making us aware of the multiple ways to order and receive service.
Absolute 10/10 here. We will be back and it will be soon!
Like any grand opening, there were a few hiccups along the way, but the staff handled it like absolute pros. Friendly, upbeat, and clearly working their butts off — they were easily the best part of the whole experience. You could tell everyone was doing everything they could to make sure people had a great time.
And then there’s the brisket… which might actually be worth starting a small family feud over. Smoky, tender, and the kind of BBQ that makes you pause mid-bite and question whether you should share.
Yes, there were a few opening-day bumps, but honestly it just added to the charm. Great staff, great energy, and seriously good BBQ.
Highly recommend — and if the brisket gets even better once they hit their stride, Calgary might be in trouble.
The open kitchen concept is enjoyable to watch, especially when Jane herself was flying around leading the crew.
The only reason I gave 4 stars for service was because we had our meals but were still missing half our drinks. We put it off to 1st day stress. They corrected everything quickly when we brought it up.
The meat comes unsauced (ribs included) so if you want it, you need to purchase it. A friendly heads up.
Overall a great experience and we will be back for sure.
