I recently ordered food from this restaurant, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The quantity of food served was far below expectations. When we called to address the issue, the owner, Raghu, happened to answer the call. Instead of listening and resolving the concern, he chose to argue, insisting that we had placed the wrong order — even after we clearly explained the situation.
After being on the call for over 6 minutes, I mentioned that this issue could easily be solved with a simple solution. However, rather than apologizing or taking responsibility, Raghu passed the call to his front desk staff, instructing them to either bring the biryani refill or apologize.
We even went to the restaurant (Janata Bar) by 9:48 PM, only to find it closed — leaving the issue unresolved.
If you are relying on bringing food from this restaurant and eat at home it will be a night mare so make a better choice
Such poor customer service and unprofessional behavior are completely unacceptable. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Ashburn or Herndon area.
A gentle reminder to the management — always remember, the customer is like a god. Treat them with respect, and they will return. Ignore them, and you lose them forever

We were disappointed with our experience at the Ashburn branch, especially since we’ve enjoyed the Herndon location in the past. Unfortunately, the food quality here was not up to standard.
The Andhra chicken curry was the main issue; it tasted stale and was not fresh.
We also found the pieces in the tandoori platter to be very dry, and the jeera rice was bland. Based on this meal, we would not recommend the Ashburn location and suggest visiting the Herndon branch instead for their consistently better standards.

I mean the service was great. But coke was flat. The basmati rice that came with curry was so bland and not cooked properly. Also i think it’s little pricy. Nanns were over buttered. Not crispy at all. But the overall quality was okay. The curry sauce was very good but the chickens weren’t really soft.

We have been going to this restaurant for the last couple of months and I have to say, we all enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Delhi 6. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat wonderful lunch buffet.
Also, I have ordered take out and every time was satisfied with the quality as well as the quantity. Keep up the good work. Highly recommend!

ordered the food for pickup
palak paneer was stinky and taste like stale

Ordered a food item and paid for a specific quantity—got less than what we paid for. When we tried to resolve it, the help desk staff were clueless and borderline disrespectful. Spoke to the manager, Raghu, who was surprisingly rude and dismissive.
They promised to replace the item, so we made the trip back around 10 PM—only to find the store closed. No call, no heads-up, just locked doors and wasted time.
This level of service is unacceptable. Customers deserve honesty, courtesy, and accountability. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes urgent improvements.

This place serves a good lunch buffet at a reasonable price, and offers decent vegetarian options, clearly separated from the non-vegetarian options. We particularly enjoyed their delicious Aloo, Puri and Kheer.
Slightly disappointed with plastic/foam bowls though. This could be improved as it’s not ideal for hot food.
Nevertheless, the overall experience was good, and will be visiting again soon.

Don’t recommend. Ordered a take out for hakka noodles and veg Manchurian. Got shocked to see they used malai Kofta’s kofta in Manchurian sauce.
