Definitely recommend coming here!
It was my first time trying Georgian food, and I really enjoyed it. The soup dumplings reminded me of Chinese soup dumplings, though the wrapper didn’t contain yeast, so it was a bit doughy—more like a traditional Chinese dumpling. I also tried lamb tongues for the first time, and they were surprisingly tender and flavorful. The chicken kebab, marinated with yogurt, was very tender and well-seasoned.
The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely a place I’d revisit.
We ended up eating the flatbreads (tried to have a light lunch). Wonderful and very different from what we’re used to (you know, like McDonald’s and Subway). And my wife had the lentil soup which she said was fantastic. Slightly different flavoring than her own.
The waitstaff was very attentive. Prices are right. Ambiance was really nice — not loud at all.
Doubtful we’ll be in the area again but I highly recommend Jana as a good lunch or dinner spot, especially if you’re in the mood for something different.
I brought three American friends with me who weren’t familiar with this type of food, and they absolutely loved it. They were impressed by the variety and how flavorful everything was.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting—beautifully decorated and perfect for a cozy meal. Even though the restaurant was full, the staff welcomed us in without a reservation and made sure we were well taken care of. You can tell it’s a well-run family business with a lot of heart. Everyone was so friendly and attentive throughout the evening.
Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic flavors and a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!
