Went in and sat at a table. I was ignored for just under 30 minutes when another table told the waitress I hadn’t been helped. This restaurant came HIGHLY recommended so I figured I’d get a decent meal. I finally ordered about 30 minutes or so after sitting at a table. It then took literally an hour for my food to come. Excuse was only one cook- and I can understand that.. But for an hour wait I’d expect something more than straight out of the freezer food. It all tasted straight from the freezer, except the baked potato. I will not return. I suggest if you have plans don’t make this your lunch stop. You’ll be waiting awhile. Or call it in they seem to take precedence over all seated guests. Extremely disappointed.

The food is amazing. The service is awful. Granted, it is a small town, privately owned establishment, but it makes no sense to be the only seated table waiting for a simple order for 40 minutes. Our drinks ran out long before we finished eating and never got refilled after asking. Upon arrival, I requested that the table be wiped down because it was covered in crumbs and water (every table was), the waitress brought our drinks and said she’d be back with a towel, came back to take our order, I asked again, she said okay and never wiped it down. We, a party of four, were the ONLY table in the restaurant and she never came back again until we decided to get a to go trays, pay and leave.

The fantail shrimp dinner (fried okra & loaded potato) – is my favorite!
Ordered it 40 min before closing and it was a bit of a wait once getting there. 20 min turned into 35.

I’m just leaving this restaurant and I ordered a cheeseburger and fries basket. When I got my food 25-30 minutes later the fries was COLD… NOT WARM- COLD . I told son to take it back and when he got back in the car he said mom that lady said you ordered your food at 4:28pm and the next time she is NOT going to do it. So that made me call back up there and I ask her what the lady told my son and she repeated it.
I love food and I know that those fries was not fresh. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT. Y’ALL are not WORTH my money. And customers are ALWAYS RIGHT!!!!

So first time trying this place today, so disappointed. I ordered inside and asked about the 3 combination plate, if it was bay or sea scallops, I was told sea. I ordered it with sea scallops, fantail shrimp and crab nuggets. Along with a kids 3 tender plate with fries. My combo plate had bay scallops, 4 shrimp and the crab nuggets were basically hushpuppies. My kids 3 peice was only a 2 peice with 10 fries. I’m a business owner and like to support locally but if this is what they give a first time customer, I’m sorry but I won’t be back.

Always good – always affordable – typically very friendly – they get slammed with call in orders at dinner time, so be prepared and don’t complain, but your food will be fresh and hot when you get it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was very disappointed about the way I was treated there on Friday night. I have been going here since ot was seafood shack and I must say that the young lady with glasses and red hair was beyond rude, and I will never spend money here again. Besides, they’re never open anyway

Cannot call in and get your order placed. There credit card machine is always down as well. The service is subpar at best. Needs to be more people hired if it is too much.
