Jamie’s Country Kitchen is officially our new favorite spot in Richmond. I had the Cream of Chicken Rice soup and loved it so much I didn’t even stop for a photo, and the half order of Jamie’s biscuits and gravy was packed with flavor.
My husband’s bacon and cheese omelet with cubed potatoes was just as good – and the portions were huge! Knowing these recipes are crafted by Jamie herself makes it even better. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the whole place just has that welcoming, hometown feel. We left full and already planning our next visit.

What an incredible diner. Great staff, quality of food and generous portions. Four of us went out for breakfast and we all left stuffed with to-go boxes. Never had to ask or wait for refills or the check. We have tried going out to breakfast at some diners in Lake Geneva and none of them come close to what we experienced here. Highly recommended!

This relatively new restaurant is wonderful. The most terrific thing about it was our waiter. He was attentive, timely, but most of all, he was kind. The food is very good, and the prices are priced fairly. It was Valentines Day and they game my mom and me roses and the table chocolate covered strawberries. It was also my mom’s birthday and they gave her a brownie ice cream sundae, all free. I must say, I have never tipped a waiter as much, and he earned it with his attentiveness but again, his kindness. Friends, it’s the people who make any establishment. Kindness.

Went to check it out for the first time last weekend and it was Amazing. I had the biscuits and gravy which were sooo good and the French toast. Atmosphere was great, so nice and cozy and the staff was wonderful. I will definitely be back again soon. Oh and a must try… the Banana bread French toast delicious!!
