One of the best places in the whole state. Everything from the atmosphere to the people to the food was SLAMMIN. Pork belly hash was out of this world good. And who doesn’t like dining with an orangutan lookin down on em?

This is one of the coolest places to hang out in the Rockies. It’s a quirky place. The food was good. They have live music over the weekend. It’s a little pricey but portions are huge. You can easily split plates. Our party had cinnamon rolls, French Toast and a Burrito. Plenty enough to feed six. You do order at the counter. For the dieters they don’t have Diet Coke. They serve Mexican Coca-Cola with real sugar. After the meal take the road on through town. Beautiful drive. Eventually becomes gravel but ultimately intersects with Route 7. Turn right to go to Lyons and Estes Park.

This is a great place for breakfast! It’s pricey… we spent $80 for two breakfast plates, a Bloody Mary, drip coffee and a pastry. However, the portions were huge and we could’ve easily split a meal. The trout was good, but the breakfast burrito was amazing! My favorite part, strangely, was all the freshness they add to the plate.
They had live music Sunday morning. Very chill vibe and this place has some history, it seems.
Will definitely be back!

One of the coolest places to hang out at in the Colorado Rockies. The food is always delicious, the drinks are poured heavy, and the cast and crew are all friendly and fun. Whether it is catching live music on a weekend evening or grabbing their excellent Sunday brunch, you can always be certain it will be a great experience and that you’ll meet a few new friends. This place is a true gem.

Unique local spot with small rotating menu- everything we tried was AMAZING. Like mama’s home cooking, but better. We also enjoyed the live band; although, know it was very loud given the small space. Parking was limited so we parked at the post office since it was after hours.

Wonderful quaint place. Great breakfast plates. Yummy mimosas! Indoor and outdoor seating with a small waterfall you can dunk your feet in. Dog friendly. We had live music during our brunch which was unique. Free live music several times a week. Check out their website for performer schedule. UPDATE: another great nite here. Great fish taco platter. Live music (free) by Phish cover band.

This is one of those magical places that I can’t imagine Jamestown without. Cheerful staff, great food, and in the summer on Fridays amazing live music. The Merc is not just a restaurant, it’s a third space for the community. The head chef, Rainbow, brings magic to all her dishes with local produce and family favorites. I love the Merc!!!

Are you skeptical when someone touts an antique/historial cafe/restaurant? Look no further. Jamestown Mercantile is the real deal.
Cozy. Delicious. Authentic. This place feels like home after about 30 seconds. Staff was so kind, burritos tasted phenomenal, seating is open and casual. Will definitely be back to this place, it’s a gem. I’m excited to go during a jam night.

The ultimate mountain town cafe – incredible food, great coffee, and live music. As soon as you walk in you’ll feel like family and wish you were a regular. Their breakfast burritos are some of the best in the state with the perfect green chili. If you’re driving through Jamestown, this is a must.
