This place is very homey and cozy. They were very busy, but the service was good. I was so surprised and how delicious everything was. We have no complaints about any of the food. The portion size was perfect!! what really wowed me was the calamari! It was one of the best we’ve ever had!! highly recommend! the veggies were nice and crisp and seasoned perfectly. I completely recommend coming here!! we will be back!!

I visited this place to celebrate my brother’s birthday, and it turned out to be a great choice. The food was delicious, served fresh and exactly as ordered. They started us off with soft bread rolls and butter, which were a nice touch. I tried the chicken tenders, bacon and avocado burger, fries, asparagus, french onion soup, and finished with a chocolate truffle martini and a slice of key lime pie everything tasted amazing. The service was quick and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Grabbed my food to go. 28 oz bone in ribeye. Some steak places only do a la carte. Jameson’s you get your steak, potato choice (I chose rice), soup, and salad. Plus a small loaf of bread. Also, got the shrimp cocktail. Very good dinner. Enough for 2? Maybe.

Soup was an excellent potato soup. Very delicious. It was perfect to soak up some bread.

Salad was very good. Maybe a homemade 1000 Island dressing?

Shrimps were deliciouso!! Perfect texture. Lemons and cocktail sauce complimented them well.

The rice, I poured some of the potato soup into it. Made super rice (super rice is just soup in rice).

The ribeye was very good as well.

OMG, somethings never change..I’m sorry but this place is a classic Supper Club setting. I brought a big party after work for a nice steak dinner. The menu is ageless, the portions plentiful. Soup + Salad + Entree. Our server was awesome, food was delicious, no complaints from anyone. Check out the fresh fish options, you will not be disappointed! Keep up the great work folks… don’t be afraid to stop in & enjoy some really tasty food!

Service was okay it was quick but not , they forgot our appetizer , our soups were cold, my ribeye was rare instead of medium , the fries on the side were ice cold, sent back what I could and got everything reheated but I shouldn’t need to .

Okay so it was our first time here, decided to try a new restaurant to us. Upon arrival waited to see if there was a wait list. We had to wait a good 8 minutes to see because the host was busy fulfilling to go orders. (a huge turn off) fortunately the manager stepped in an got things back on track. Seated and placed our orders, our server seemed a little slow in delivering basics as water/drinks/bread. Once our order arrived all of the fore a mentioned was wiped away…. We both had the Alfredo Pasta and it was delicious. plenty of sides. I never have to take a doggie bag home, Jameson’s broke that streak. All and all it turned our to be a very good visit.

We visited this restaurant today, and unfortunately, it was a real disappointment. We’ve been here several times over the past three years, but after today, we definitely won’t be returning. We had reservations for 7p and were seated at 7:40pm. Our server, Joe, was fantastic—he did a great job with the circumstances—but the food was truly terrible. One person’s steak and green beans came out cold, another ordered a medium-well prime rib and got it rare, and my filet mignon, ordered medium, was charred and overcooked. After sending it back, it returned rare again. We were also supposed to get a potato with the meal, but it was taken away and never returned. The kitchen was clearly behind—they served other tables who ordered after us first, and we were left waiting. To make it worse, we had invited a new couple to join us, and we were so embarrassed by this whole experience. It’s really disappointing, because we used to love this place, but we won’t be back after today.

I’ve had a couple of visits to this steakhouse, and it’s been a bit of a mixed bag.

My first experience was great! We came in with a big party and got to enjoy the private room, which was awesome. The food and service were both top-notch. I had the prime rib, and it was incredibly juicy and flavorful, truly a standout meal.

However, my second visit, which was on Father’s Day, wasn’t quite as smooth. Even though I made reservations online and arrived on time, we still had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. The place was super busy, with servers practically running around to keep up. When it came time to order, a lot of items were already sold out, including all the rice, which was a bummer. They also only had one type of soup available, so we couldn’t get our favorite from the last visit. Despite the chaos, our server was still nice and attentive, which was a big plus. The food was good, but the overall experience just didn’t feel as polished as that first, fantastic visit.

It seems like they shine during less busy times, but special occasions might be a bit more of a gamble.

Went for a quiet Monday night dinner of fish. It was marvelous. My wife customized her order and they graciously made it for her. I ordered a Parmesan encrusted fish and it was perfectly cooked. Soup was great and hot-lentil. Service was wonderful, very attentive. Side vegetables were perfectly cooked. We got out of there for 65$. Go and enjoy.

My husband and I chose Jameson’s Charhouse in Bloomingdale il for our Valentine’s Day dinner, and unfortunately, the experience did not match the occasion.
Let me start with the positive: our server was attentive, kind, and truly did the best she could with what they had. No complaints there.

Now! On one of the busiest dining nights of the year, they ran out of ranch dressing for salads, ran out of mashed potatoes, ran out of calamari, and out of broccoli and cheddar soup. They only had two soup options to begin with and one of them was unavailable. We were left to “settle” for the chicken tortellini soup, which I personally did not care for. It simply wasn’t what I wanted, especially on a special night.
For a steakhouse on Valentine’s Day, running out of staple sides and appetizers is a major red flag. Preparation matters especially when guests are choosing your restaurant to celebrate something meaningful.
As for the food itself, it was underwhelming. The dishes lacked seasoning. Everything tasted bland, like it needed salt, pepper, and some actual love in the kitchen. When you’re paying steakhouse prices, you expect bold flavor, proper seasoning, and consistency. Unfortunately, they missed the mark.
Valentine’s Day dinner should feel special. Instead, it felt unprepared and disappointing.
I truly hope this was just an off night, because special occasions deserve better execution!
