I recently dined at the New Waterfront Restaurant James and Maine ” Former REEL” and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The manager, Danny, was excellent and ensured everything was perfect. Our server, also named Danny, was incredibly attentive and paid great attention to detail.

First time dining here. My friend & I decided to check it out for restaurant week. We didn’t have a reservation but they were still able to accommodate us. Great choice! We had the Chicken Jimmy & salmon w/risotto. Good food, good size portions & will definitely return again.

Wonderful food, service and atmosphere! We sat in the outside veranda. It was inside a tent classly decorated and very well heated (mid February).

We went here for Valentine’s Day dinner and everything from the moment we walked in was wonderful. Host and manager fantastic and so personable, the food absolute perfection and the drinks tasty. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!

We went to James & Main to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The staff is extremely attentive and accommodating. Our party was twenty deep, so we were seated essentially in a private room in the back of the restaurant. Starters perfectly crispy calamari and wings. The wings were served with hot cherry peppers and a side of tapenade, which I appreciated.
My main entrée was a Cod special served over Ratatouille. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and if you’ve ever had the famous French vegetable medley with sauce, you know it’s a wonderful accompaniment a delicious piece of fish.
Being a Friday during lent caused my Catholic guilt to prevent the steak, which truly looked incredible. I can recommend it because my brother in law finished every morsel of his with a smile.
Dessert was a pungent Keylime pie with homemade whipped cream and espresso, which truly completed the meal.
Overall, I’d highly recommend giving this place a try, I know I’ll be back without question.

My wife, my daughter and I had the extreme pleasure of dining at James & Main. Our experience was simply dining pleasure from every dimension. You are greeted very warmly by Michelle at the entrance, led to your table in a room that is so comfortable and service begins. Our waiter, Tony introduced himself immediately and the service never ended. The food was excellent!!!! There is a caveat though, since we all have tastes that vary and opinions that don’t quite line up, I can tell you that you could not be dissatisfied or disappointed when you decide to dine WELL!!!

Absolutely loved this spot! Went here for a private gathering with some friends and the experience was wonderful! All of the staff were friendly and attentive and absolutely loved the atmosphere & decor, very classic and gives “old money” vibes to me! I had the lasagna with braised beef & burrata and it was to die for, I wish I had more! Also loved the cheesecake & mousse for dessert. The owner is passionate about his craft and the experience – couldn’t recommend the spot more!
