I come into town for work every once in a while and always make a point to grab food from here when I do. The portions are huge, the taste is great, and the service is friendly. Literally can’t complain about a thing. This was the first place I ever tried ox tail and I’ve been trying and failing to find somewhere as good ever since! Call in your order ahead so you don’t have to wait, then take it home and see what I’m talking about.

LOVE this place! I used to buy plates from them before they even opened the restaurant, and the food is sooo good. The woman that owns it & works the counter is so friendly and down to earth. She is overall a great person that also does a lot for the community. The Food is awesome and in line with the food I received in the islands. I highly recommend the oxtail, best in Western Kentucky.

Got Jerk Chicken off the food truck, not dry at all. Fall off the bone and blackened with spice. The cabbage is fenomenol. My son is a very picky Autistic eater, ate the Whole dinner! Mac n cheese gone in 5 seconds.

The ox tails where delicious but I ordered double Mac and it was trash didn’t even eat it, Mac and cheese is the most important part of my meat so if that’s not hitting I’m not with it but I was told Caribbean Mac and cheese isn’t soul food Mac!

This is my second time eating Jamaican food. We ordered the Jerk Pork with Mac and cheese and yams and Oxtails with red beans and rice and cabbage. If I could give more stars, I would. The food is on point and will keep you returning. Excellent service, welcoming environment.

Jamaican Yard Vibez had their food truck at the Henderson Dust Bowl. I never had Jamaican food before but the oxtail with Mac and cheese and candy yams was beyond good, it was absolutely amazing. The portions are perfect, the meat was so tender you could cut it with a plastic spoon. The lady who took my order was super sweet, and the cook was amazing. They aren’t local but I would definitely drive to owensboro to eat here.

Got the jerk chicken with red beans and rice and cabbage it was delicious! It’s spicy if your like me and love spicy food I got extra sauce if you don’t love spicy food just get sauce on the side! I def give this place a 10/10

Had the food truck at the Derby fair downtown tonight and it was SO GOOD. Got the jerk chicken meal with rice and beans and mac and cheese. Was just what I needed after the 5k to replenish my energy and my soul. Great friendly service, too. Thanks you all!
