Delicious, authentic Jamaican food! Very grounded, genuine owner.
As I was feeling the positive vibe of the oxtail entree, I looked down and saw a heart in the bone!
Food made with love, for sure. Will definitely return my next trip to Burlington.

There is no reason a long strand of hair should be in my food. Cover your damn heads if you are going leave strands of your hair in your customer’s food!

While in South Burlington for a business meeting, I stumbled upon Jamaican Supreme Food purely by accident. On my way back, I passed by this spot and immediately felt drawn to its inviting vibe. As someone with a deep love for Jamaican cuisine, I couldn’t resist turning around to check it out and I am so glad I did.
The ambiance is casual yet warm, with an authentic charm that made me feel like I was about to embark on a flavorful journey. The staff was incredibly friendly and eager to answer my questions about the menu, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
I decided to order lunch for two, myself and my wife, and it was a fantastic decision. There’s no way I was coming home with just one order of food. lol
I got two Jerk Chicken Meals with rice & beans plus cabbage, two Beef Patties, and two sides of Plantains. The jerk chicken was out of this world—perfectly spiced, juicy, and packed with bold, authentic flavors. The patties were equally impressive, with a flaky, golden crust and a deliciously spiced filling. The plantains were the perfect sweet complement to round out the meal.
My love for Jamaican food has taken me to many places, but this unexpected discovery stands out as a true gem. I am so glad I made the decision to turn around and check it out. If you’re ever in the area and craving authentic Jamaican flavors, Jamaican Supreme Food is a must-visit. Trust me—you will leave very satisfied and planning your next visit!

Best Jamaican food in Vermont, period. I have been here over 25yrs, and no other Jamaican places has matched this place for taste and longevity. Reminds me of my past life in the Caribbean. Show Jamaican Supreme some love — we cannot lose this place, especially with the few to no Caribbean food choices in the county!

Loved it!!! Authentic Jamaican food with lots of flavor. Extremely delicious. Loved the plantains and jerk chicken. They gave the perfect amount of food in the takeout container. I can’t say enough. Everyone should try this place.

I had the jerk chicken with plantains. It came with jerk chicken, rice and beans, cabbage, and plantains. It was so freaking delicious! It was reasonably priced as well. Richie made the plantains fresh, and the portion size is phenomenal. Anyone who wants authentic Jamaican food should come here. Shoot anyone who’s hungry and in the area should come here.

Ohhhh my!!! I came with an open mind thinking the food would be bland, however, the food was delicious & full of flavor!!! I had the curry chicken with plantains, fried to perfection. Richie was on point with the orders. Clean atmosphere. Just take out, but no matter. I got full & took some home (ate in the car). Really awsome place. I will return!!!!

Oxtail is very solid and the only thing I would order from here. “Jamaican Jerk” chicken is a far cry from it and more accurately resembles a sweet bbq chicken. A close friend and his family are Jamaican so I’m comparing to their family’s recipe’s that I’ve been lucky to enjoy. The jerk chicken was seriously so over sweet, no all spice or pimento flavor, no heat, overall just not Jamaican jerk chicken.

No matter the type of cuisine, you can always tell when you’re eating home cooked food made with heart, and this is the real deal. My son and I had the oxtail, curry chicken and brown stew chicken, with rice, cabbage and plantains. Every single bite was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Absolutely delicious. I would eat this food every day if I could. Plus tasty sodas! Thank you Jamaican Supreme!

The food was phenomenal! If you’re looking for fantastic carribbean and Jamaican food in Vermont, then I definitely recommend going here!
The portion sizes were very generous for how much we paid per meal (About $15 each) which gets you a rather large takeout container packed to the brim with flavorful rice, beans, meat, veggies and you can even get platanos maduros on the side (sweet plaintains).
I ended up ordering the Jerk Chicken with plantains, rice and beans, as well as a couple of jamaican beef patties and it was so delicious and flavorful!
All in all I highly recommend going here if you’re looking for a really good carribbean place that serves a lot of food for a really good price!!!
