Pleasant service on a a Saturday afternoon. The food is quite literally perfect. Best Jamaican cuisine I’ve had in CT for a while. Perfect amount of spice for the jerk chicken meal and my spicy beef patty. Enough for a good kick but not killin you.

Worst Jamaican restaurant you can buy from. Ordered from the Bristol location. Rice peas cabbage and jerk pork. They prepare the food in the back. Forgot my cabbage. Food was cold. I told them about the mistake. And they accused me of taking the cabbage I never received. That there’s nothing they can do for getting my order incorrect.

Food is fresh and delicious. It’s difficult to find authentic ethnic food in Bristol as someone who recently moved from NYC, glad that I found this place. The Jamaican Kitchen App is great to use to order their food I hope they can expand their rewards program on the App to offer more than fries, plantains etc when you score points for being a returned customer.

Okay, I am uoset with myself that I hadn’t stopped in here sooner. My girlfriend and I were greated by a very friendly worker of the restaurant and helped guide us through what was available on the menu. I love Jamaican food and I had been meaning to stop in here for a while but just never had the chance until today and this place didnt disappoint. Bro, the food is absolutely fantastic. All the way down to the rice! The portions are wild as well, so much food. I wanted to save some for later but I just couldn’t. I highly recommend stopping by this gem and giving them a try. Its worth it without a doubt. Try to Oxtail!

This was my first time trying Jamaican food from this location. I really enjoyed everything from the rice and peas to the jerked Mac and cheese. Ox tails falling off the bone and the jerked chicken was actually seasoned to perfection. The customer service was absolutely amazing! The owner was explaining how they make their pudding as they gave us a sample to take home and were the most polite workers. It might’ve been my first time going but definitely not my last!

Imagine I order on Uber Eats to have my food delivered. I called to tell them that I wanted white rice, no vegetables and the gravy on the side. Only to have the guy basically ignored me on the phone and what to sounds like him throwing the phone down, having me saying hello hello. I went and cancelled my order online, only again to have you guys charging me. I called AGAIN to speak to the manager to get my refund, the same person answered and literally cursed me out, his exact words were’ him nuh have time fi this’ that’s why him never wah answer me the first time and a work him a work so I should go call DoorDash or Uber eats to get a refund. Him can’t help me and he carry on and on. He then AGAIN put the phone don’t and said ‘she can stay pan the phone. I need a refund! I’ll order from Hartford or Waterbury next time.

Jamaican Kitchen in Bristol is pretty good. Like other reviews have said, the jerk chicken is kind of bland in flavor… but it’s OK. Good size servings, friendly service and clean inside. Worth a try as an intro to Jamaican food.
