We came in after the lunch rush. It’s not a fancy restaurant but its a great restaurant. The food was terrific and the staff/cooks/ owner was very friendly and approachable. I asked a bunch of questions about the Jamaican food experience anf they were more than happy to talk about their food. We’re going back, taking people with us and definitely recommending to everyone.

My son has wanted to try Jerk Chicken for a long time so I stopped and got him a meal. He loved it! He said the flavor was amazing (and hot of course) but very flavorful! I would say a very authentic Jamaican dish. It came with rice and cabbage, which were also delicious! My son said it was the best chicken he has ever had!

Just stopped by to try for lunch. Got the pork tips. 15 bucks way to much food, sooooo good. The cabbage was so perfectly seasoned. Got dang this lady can cook! Will be back.

I lived in south Florida for almost 10 years.had jerk so good it tasted like Jamaica itself…When I tell you this is the island in Port Huron it’s NO JOKE!!!! From the chicken to the beef tips,not to mention a fish soup that taste so fresh and real it’s amazing… Make sure to get extra cabbage and corn bread…DO NOT MISS OUT ON AMAZING FOOD!!!!!

Came here today because another restaurant we were going to was closed. Thankfully they were because this place is great. The food, the atmosphere and the staff are incredible. We got the oxtails, jerk tips, Mac and cheese and the corn bread and I recommend you order the same stuff. The oxtails had these amazing noodles with them as a bonus. Again the foods amazing but the people who were working were as friendly as I’ve came across at a restaurant. Keep up the good work fam

If you’re like me, having passed this place dozens of times and thought “I’ll have to try that some time” but have been putting it off, do yourself a favor and go! The two staff running the counter were very nice. I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and a side of cornbread.
They were out of some of the items I wanted, and the cornbread is a bit too sweet and cakey for my liking, but even so, the jerk chicken was good enough that I have to give the food a 5-stars.
This is definitely becoming a top-option for lunch out during the work week.

The food and service was amazing! Hands down authentic! I would come back to this place if I was visiting Michigan again! You won’t be disappointed. Love supporting family owned local businesses with good service.
