I usually don’t eat at jerk restaurants because the majority of the food is spicy and I’m do not like spicy food. But while here in Chicago visiting we did stop here they have lots of items on the menu that were not spicy. I ended up with the chicken stew with red beans and rice and cabbage and all I can say is omg this food is so damn good! I would have loved to leave a picture of the actual food itself but because I didn’t think about it and I was hungry and I went in on this food I’m just going to leave a picture of what I still have left. Lol

The food was amazing. Fresh and hot. The only thing I would say is to check your food before you leave. I added extra bread and sauce when I picked up my order and they only gave me the extra sauce and no extra bread. It was an extra $0.80 which wasn’t a huge issue but I still would like to get what I paid for. On another note, the young lady that answers the phone to take orders is very pleasant which is exactly what this place needed. Keep up the great custome service young lady.
Update: a reply to my review informed me that the lunch special doesn’t come with bread. Based off that im updating my review. 5/5. Will be back again real soon. Love the food.

Got half a jerk chicken and pasta.
The jerk chicken 10/10 fresh, seasoned great, hot.
The pasta was good a little too spicy for me. But nonetheless still good.

The Jerk Chicken is absolutely phenomenal! The meat is incredibly juicy and perfectly seasoned, with that authentic Caribbean smokiness that’s hard to find anywhere else. The jerk rub delivers layers of flavor — spicy, savory, slightly sweet — all working together beautifully. The texture is tender, the aroma alone is mouthwatering, and the taste is nothing short of unforgettable. This is easily a 5-star experience and one of the best jerk dishes I’ve had in a long time! ✨

I spend over $100 for nasty food the only thing that was good was the cabbage. The Mac&cheese nasty and the sweet potatoes didn’t taste like anything but cinnamon. The bean and rice nasty too, the chicken was very dry on top of that the nasty customer service rude didn’t want to even answer questions pertaining to the food whatever you do don’t waste your money on the side if you have to eat here just get wings and go

The oxtail dinner was DELICIOUS!!! Some of the wings were burnt, but they still were tasty. The plate came very messy and there was juice leaking everywhere (I cleaned it up as shown in picture). The oxtails were good portion sized for it to be a small. The food overall was definitely flavorful… I’ll eat here again.

This jerk chicken is delicious. I tried it for the first time today, and it’s delicious. The prices are affordable. The food is delicious. 10/10. I recommend it 1000%. The service is excellent. Thank you for this wonderful experience.
