The Jamaican food here is pretty good. I got jerk chicken and greens. The jerk chicken was perfectly cooked and it tasted pretty good. The greens were solid. However they are kind of expensive for the portion size you get. $18 for this meal you see in the pic (minus the avocado which I provided). I pay around the same at my favorite Jamaican place in Silver Spring but I get nearly twice as much food and it’s spiced a bit better. 4 out of 5 stars for their food, 2 out of 5 for price and portion. If their food was the best Jamaican food I ever had at their price point or if they gave me more I would have rated them 4 stars. The food is definitely pretty good just pricey for the amount you get in comparison to other Jamaican restaurants in Montgomery County.

OMG… this place is legit! Everything was delicious, seasoned to perfection & not overdone. Literally the best cabbage I’ve ever had! I will definitely become a regular here.

Curry chicken was tasty. However, the portion was small for the price. I ordered a large which should allow me to have leftovers. The side dishes weren’t my favorite.

I cannot say enough good things about the delicious food I had there!!!! I had a large jerk chick with beans & rice and callalou which is Jamaican style collards. Everything is from scratch and perfectly seasoned and the portions are beyond ample. DISCLAIMER: Authentic jerk is made with scotch bonnet peppers and is supposed to be spicy. If you don’t like spicy food you don’t order the jerk!!!! Thank you JMC!!!

Jamaica Mi Crazy was my go to for Thanksgiving dinner 2022. The food was amazing! My choices included ox tails, peas and rice, turkey, cabbage etc. The meat was succulent and seasoned to perfection, just the right level of spice. My table was gorgeous and my guests loved the meal. The service and attention to detail with my order was on point and the chef was definitely to be complimented. I’ve recommended the restaurant to friends in Frederick, Loudon County and Fairfax County. I am looking forward to the same service and outstanding food this year!

Over priced. Rice tastes like it was left over. Oxtail was not bad . Curry goat was nice and tender. Chicken patty tasted and looked undercooked. Cocoa bread was okay.

I am Caribbean so I am harsh when it comes to food but it was amazing. However my plate only came with the rice and peas and curry chicken. I was expecting cabbage or plantains, two sides for the price. That is just what I’m used to and maybe what you should consider giving your customers. But please continue the great quality food! Love it.

I have made 3 attempts to eat at this restaurant. The first attempt I called and arrived 30 minutes before they closed and even knocked on the door with no answer. On my second attempt I was blown away with how good their curry goat and rice and peas was! I love Coco bread and it was a amazing as well. My third attempt I was finally able to get some ox tail which was good. The issue that came up is that we were given Coco bread that was was bad. They went from the traditional small loaf that you get to cutting them in half. I understand conserving resources but not at the cost of quality tasting food. Really hope this changes.

This was the worst curry goat I have ever tasted! There was hardly any curry on the goat. It seems has if it was extremely watered down and had absolutely no taste. If you are a Jamaican you know what real authentic curry goat taste like. This is not it! I cannot eat this! And to make matters worst, there were 3 large bones camouflaged as meat. Therefore, a large curry goat for $17.00 was not only horrible but it was full of bones. There is no way the person who shared out the food did not know it’s bones and not goat. The bones were too large not to notice. This was not only a waste of money, but a waste of time to drive to go get it!
