Now here is a hidden gem with outstanding food and the staff is like visiting family. Small seating area, but clean. Awesome chairs! A good variety of foods and drinks. I had the oxtail with beans and rice and the incredible Rasta pasta. Great portions. Certainly more than I could eat at one time. Oxtail was super tender and flavored to perfection. Juicy, not dry or overcooked. I can’t describe the rasta pasta. It is heaven in your mouth. A burst of flavors on a perfectly cooked pasta.
Staff are so cool. They will chit chat if they aren’t too busy. But they are also never too busy to be kind and appreciate you stopping by.
Nice selection of Jamaican drinks as well.
Great spot and you’re doing an awesome job, thanks for having me.

This place was really good first time trying it. I had the jerk chicken plate with festival and rasta pasta. My wife had the curry chicken with mac and cheese and cabbage. Everything was good would like to go back to try something different. They weren’t busy when we got there but we did go around 11:00 a.m. the customer service is really good my only complaint is that the chicken was almost cold, cooked but kinda cold.

Wish I would have read recent reviews before going. Prices are not as listed. I was charged $3 more than menu price, and when I brought it to their attention, it was shrugged off. I was still holding out hope that the food would be worth it. But the food was bland and like it’s been sitting and was not fresh nor was it authentic Jamaican food. I won’t be returning back.

I ordered the stewed fish, cabbage, rice & peas with plantains.
This is this first Jamaican restaurant I’ve been to where the food had no island spices. It was not authentic at all. The fish was not stewed, it tasted like some type of American BBQ sauce. The rice had NO flavor at all and the cabbage was NOT seasoned. I was highly disappointed considering the meal was $30+. There WAS NO Jamaican flavor on the food At ALL.
I will not be returning to this place.

Please allow me to precursor this with the only reason I did not give 5 ⭐️ is because of my wait time.

My office placed an order for food around 10:30am for a pickup time of 11:30am. I arrived at the restaurant at 11:20am. At that time I was told it would ready in 10 minutes to meet the 11:30am pickup time, no worries I didn’t mind waiting. When our pickup time comes and goes, I was not panicked or anything but when it hit 12:40pm and I’m still waiting, that was when I started to get a little antsy. The young lady that works there said it would be a little bit longer, this is as she is bringing out the sauces for the Jerk Chicken. I’m still waiting at 12:50pm and I’m beginning to get a little upset because it’s now been 2 hours since you got our order. Finally they start bringing out the food to load into my car. They show me all the food, which we got an order made for 10 people and included jerk chicken, oxtails, rice&beans, cabbage, and plantains, it ALL looked amazing!

Unfortunately because it all looked amazing and tasted even better, I did not snap a picture but Lord have Mercy!! If you get a chance to visit this restaurant PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE know that you will be satisfied with the quality of the food! Again the wait time was my only issue!

My first time eating here, service was great, parking was good. Ordered a large jerk chicken with Mac n cheese and cabbage. Dish comes with rice and I got brown stew on the rice. The food wasn’t very flavorful to me, asked for spicy and jerk chicken had no spice to it. Not sure if the sauce was even put on the chicken. The chicken felt like mushy over baked boiled chicken. Rice and cabbage both lacked flavor… Andi think there was no brown stew gravy put onto the rice. Mac n cheese, was ok. Maybe something else on their menu is better. But I don’t recommend the jerk chicken, rice or cabbage. When it comes to jerk chicken, T&D Island, is still hands down the best place in Clarksville to go

Ordered from here really early in the day, there is no reason for rice to be hard and clumpped together like its old, unless its old. Oxtail were super dry also. To top it off ended up finding a long blond piece of hair in my food
