First of all , we walked in to a beautiful decorated console table and we love the ambience of the whole restaurant. It represent so much of India and Texas at the same time. The lady who greeted us was super sweet and answered our questions. We love the food.Samosa was good. The Mutton Karahi my husband requested at the lowest level of heat was just perfect for him. The Karahi was so good I could just sip the gravy itself . And the Goat Curry dish I requested max spicy was superb for me. The meats was so tender. The naan bread was delicious. I ordered papadum and it was hugeee which I was so extra happy for. The dhal fry was yummy as well. Will defienelty come back to try other dishes!!!!

This was our first time eating at Jallikattu Authentic Indian Grill and we will most definitely come back. The buffet was $22 a person; huge selection of food, ranging from mild to spicy. The food is delicious and the staff is lovely. Highly recommend!

January 2026: 4 stars – Our recent visit was disappointing. The chicken biryani had an unpleasant odor, indicating the meat may not have been cleaned well. We arrived around 4 PM on Sunday and noticed multiple tables with leftover plates not cleared, which raised hygiene concerns. This was not the standard we experienced during our first visit, and we hope the restaurant addresses these issues.
July 2025: 5 stars – The South Indian food here was absolutely delicious and authentic. The restaurant has a pleasant ambience, making it a great place to dine with family and friends. Prices are very reasonable, so I highly recommend this restaurant!

The atmosphere is inviting, authentic and inspiring, with an Indian/Texan fusion.
The staff and owners are energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about sharing their culture and food. Ask them to make you their favorite dish and you WON’T be disappointed!

My server Shivani was AMAZING!!! She suggested meals for me and the Chicken 555 was to die for !!! Phenomenal hands down and she told me about a future date to come and the times they were open!!!! I will be back because of her and the great food this is definitely a hidden gym in Katy!!

I have been your regular customer for a while placed countless orders and everytime they mess up the service and make you wait. I would the responsible person to read this review and pay huge attention to the service. Make sure there is someone at the front all the time in the kitchen. While I was waiting for my order some customers come and ask me for a help thinking I work there coz literally they leave the place completely unattended. YOUR FOOD IS GOOD PAY ATTENTION TO THE SERVICE BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!!

IMO – food is comparable…
Ambience:
– seating – here cos Nagas has a 1-2 hr unstructured chaotic wait.
– generally both are nice.
Go to both 4 weekends apart and you won’t regret either.

The food and service are excellent. We ordered veg pakoda and the Chicken 555 (recommended by our server) to start. They were both delicious, but the Chicken 555 was especially good. I would go back for that appetizer alone.
For dinner we ordered several things to share because we couldn’t decide what we wanted. We got goat biryani, saag paneer, dal fry, and channa masala. We also got roti and onion kulcha. It was all amazing. I think the goat was my favorite. It was served with a raita and another delicious sauce that I don’t remember the name of.
We ordered medium spice levels on everything, which was perfect.
The prices were very reasonable, we got probably 3 meals worth of food for each of us, and it was an about $100.
We’ll definitely be back, it’s nice to have a great South Asian restaurant only 15 minutes from our house.

We tried the tilapia- spicy version. Yummy.
The mild mutton biryani is perfect for those who can’t handle hot.
The naan was perfect.
The vegetable korma was delish.

A lot of Indian restaurants seem to be most focused on the takeout model and are a bit cramped for dine-in. Not this one! It’s great for dine-in as it is a spacious, nicely decorated interior with plenty of seating. They have an extensive menu with lots of delicious sounding dishes but also the basics that most Americans are familiar with. I appreciate that they offered a pick your own spice level right up front; the spicy butter chicken was delicious and perfect for me! The value was great; we went elsewhere for a drink afterwards and spent about the same on two drinks as we did on two entrees and a side of naan. I’m hoping to go back and be a bit more adventurous next time and try other items on their menu!
