UPDATE. This place recently sold. I visited twice since the new owners took over, and I am disappointed with the change in service and quality. Downgraded from 5 stars to 3 stars. It’s just not the same place. There are too many choices in Odessa for quality Mexican food to put up with mediocre.
This is THE best Mexican restaurant in Odessa. The location and the decor are nothing fancy… but the food can’t be beat. The owner Christina is often the cook. When she’s cooking, you know it’s going to be great. The waiter, Manuel, has an awesome personality. He is super attentive to his customers. He’s always joking and laughing with the customers. I have been a customer for over six years now. If I want to take a guest for some authentic Mexican food… this is the ONLY place in town I’ll take them. Their house specialty is “crack tacos.” I’m not kidding you. These things are absolutely delicious. It’s got steak meat, chorizo (Mexican sausage) and bacon, with cheese, cilantro, and avocado. I guarantee you if you try this dish you’ll be back.

This place will always be my go-to whenever I crave wholesome, authentic Mexican food! Cristina and Manuel (owners) are the most loving and down to earth people you could ever meet. They treat their customers as if they were stopping by their own home for a meal, they have been like family to my family and I for years, if you haven’t stopped by yet, please do. You will leave very satisfied! I urge you to go at least once, you’ll be back…and you’ll always be welcomed!

We had the Crack Tacos and they were bombastic. The service took a little bit of time, but the food more than made up for it. This restaurant is 30 minutes away from my house and I’m still planning on visiting often to try out their other menu items. Seriously. Food was so good that I ate it all before I could take photos.

Waitress was very sweet, but owner is very very unprofessional. She was the only waitress working so it took 1 hour to get served and another 30 to wait for the receipt. Food was disgusting on top of that. Owner embarrassed the waitress in front of all costumers and told her she was dumb for not remembering when she was the only one doing everything. Never going back again. Hopefully the waitress quits and finds a job were her work is appreciated. She does not deserve to get that kind of treatment especially for being so kind, sweet and patient.
