I had Chilaquiles with carne asada and sunny side up (see pics). I split it with my friend. The food here was yummy. Delicious!

Our server, Claudia, pleasant, accommodating, and patient. I enjoyed my experience here catching up with my high school besties.

Loved the decor of giant piñatas!

Food here is awful. Ordered the carne asada. They served it with the meat inside the tortilla with nothing else – no onion, no cilantro, no peppers. Only carne asada. The lettuce, bits of tomato, and guacamole on the side is good. But no Mexican cuisine flair with seasoning and all the fixings that normally go with carne asada.
Besides the sorry presentation, the food tasted bad. Ruined my stomach after eating it. Can’t remember tasting food so gross. There’s a reason this large restaurant has empty parking and empty dining tables.

Staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was nice and we much enjoyed the old school music videos. The chips came fresh and warm; and the food was good and reasonable priced.

We tried Jalisco Cafe at their new location in Bonita for breakfast recently. I ordered an Omelet and my wife Huevos Rancheros + Coffee. The food was very tasty, prices were reasonable and service was excellent. We will be back when in the area.

Stopped in 45 minutes before closing and was the only patron in the place. The server was very personable and efficient.

I ordered a combo plate with a taco, chili relleno and cheese enchilada. The crispy taco was very good. It was just like my old neighbor used to make. The chili relleno was also very good. The cheese enchilada was forgettable and not worth it. Overall everything else was great.

Ever since they moved I like it even more. Bright, colorful and I feel like Im at my tias house ha ha. The ladies that work there treat you like you just arrived to their house, not to their job. The food is always great. Cafe the olla yummy

The entrance door has to be fixed because when it opens and swings close it swings through. It hit me in my lower back where I previously had surgery. There is a warning sign on the door.
Once we were seated, we were brought chips and salsa. The chips are thin and break when dipping into the salsa. The salsa was not very good. My wife ordered menudo and it was pretty good. I ordered machaca and it was not that great. All in all I give Jalisco’s a grade of C+.

This place is one of the worst in San Diego…I wanted to come here because I was looking for Mexican Restaurants with good tamales but when I came in the restaurant it looked very convincing, the best thing about this is the culture and artwork that is more pleasing than the food. We were the only people in the restaurant and the lady kept trying to keep busy and took 10-15 minutes to ask us what we would like to drink. After our order was placed we heard a microwave beep because it was very quiet, no music just silence so we are assuming our food was microwaved… 10 minutes later our food comes out after the beep and the tamales are very dry and everything lacks flavor, the only thing I ate was one tamale and I was slowly eating the rice, the cups didn’t seem to be throughly cleaned and the water tasted like dirt and the pink lemonade from the soda machine tasted normal but had a bit of the dirt water after taste. This upset me because it was my first time eating here and the first time we had dinner with my boyfriend as a family bonding time. So in conclusion the food was dry and you couldn’t wash it down because the drinks were also bad.

I love this place! It was my first time going to their new location. The food was delicious and it was served super quick.

The servers were amazing! They were so attentive and quick to help with anything.

I gave the atmosphere a four, only because it was a hot and muggy day and the AC was not on. They did have fans going, so that made it bearable.

I highly recommend Jalisco’s Cafe!

This is not the first time I have been to Jalisco’s, but this is the first time I am reviewing it because of how much improved it is, compared to a few years back when it was at a different location. The new location is much more vibrant, spacious, and the menu has been upgraded as well. All of the choices that my family and I choice made were delicious, weather it was the Menudo (not pictured), a torta, bean and cheese burritos, or chicken Enchiladas, everything was delicious. The chips and salsa were also a good snack before our meal. The interior of the restaurant is vibrant, colorful, and has plenty of seating. Our server was friendly and helpful as well. If you are looking for alternate spot to have breakfast or lunch without a long wait, come and eat at Jalisco in Bonita. Eat up!!!
