My visit to Arepa Mania Bar & Grill in NY was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing the Reina Pepiada arepa was packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. The chicharrón was crispy and delicious, and the natural passion fruit juice was incredibly refreshing.
The atmosphere added so much to the experience. The indoor garden-style decor is really nice, giving the space a cozy and vibrant feel that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your meal even more.

Great place with an amazing vibe! Jaleo Bar & Grill has excellent live music and often brings in talented artists. The food is delicious, highly recommend the arepas! The atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming. Valentina took great care of us and was extremely kind and attentive. Definitely a place I would recommend 100%!

Jaleo offers a pleasant atmosphere and a generally enjoyable dining experience. The space is nicely designed, and our waitress was courteous and attentive, which we appreciated.
That said, our party of six felt somewhat rushed throughout the meal. We prefer a paced dining experience beginning with drinks and appetizers, followed by entrées and dessert but we were repeatedly encouraged to place full orders quickly, despite the restaurant not being busy at the time. A more relaxed service flow would greatly enhance the guest experience.
Additionally, the music playlist appeared to repeat the same few songs, which became noticeable over the course of our visit. A more varied selection would help maintain a lively and welcoming ambiance.
With small adjustments to service pacing and atmosphere, Jaleo has the potential to provide a truly excellent dining experience.

Came into town for 4 days & felt like I hit the lotto in finding this spot a block from my hotel. A simple lunch turned into two meals a day. The food doesn’t miss.
