This was an amazing experience for us.
Tia was our server, and she was fantastic!
I had the Barria tacos, and highly recommend. We sat on the patio and had such a spectacular view of the mountains! Someone else recommended the Huckleberry margarita, and I had to try it…get it! So yummy! Hubby had the fajitas and they were very good, good quality meats and veggies! Great evening and great food and atmosphere!

We were greeted immediately and chose a rooftop patio table. View was great!

I ordered the fajitas combo. Food came quickly and was fresh and tasty. Fried ice cream after was so good I forgot to get a photo.

Beautiful new venue with easy parking. Inside and outside seating, beautiful bar and fun atmosphere. Many of the plates have their own twist on a traditional favorite. Fairly family friendly, definitely up scale. A great place to celebrate any special event. Drinks are great, loved all our food.

The restaurant is very charming and it doesn’t feel like you’re in Alaska. It feels like you’re in a nice restaurant like in Arizona or something. The waiter was super friendly and very attentive. I would give this five stars but I ordered pretty much a $30 fajita meal and it tasted like they forgot to put the fajita spice on it. It was just like steak and chicken and peppers and onion. I think it would’ve been really good but there just was no seasoning on. It didn’t really smell like fajitas either. It just smelled like chicken and steak. I didn’t complain. I just ate it because I was there to eat some protein and It was still good, but definitely didn’t have any fajita spice on it whatsoever. It was very clean in the restaurant and I enjoyed being in there having a meal. For the price, I got a sufficient amount of food could’ve been a little more, but overall the size was acceptable.

We recently visited Jalapeños, and I was impressed by how stylish and inviting the restaurant is. The design is beautiful, creating a great atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy your time.
Since we came with a big group, the food wasn’t perfect, so I might need to give it another try. However, the mini chimis were absolutely delicious! I don’t drink, but their virgin Raspberry Daiquiri and virgin Piña Colada were both amazing.
The staff was great, and the overall experience was enjoyable. I’m looking forward to coming back for another visit!

After Action Review
We hosted a retirement party for a co-worker here and were very impressed with the new Jalapeños building in Eagle River. The elevator access to the second floor made it easy for everyone to attend, and the interior décor was beautiful — you can tell a lot of thought went into the design.
The food was good, and the service was excellent, especially considering the size of our group. While the space was a bit tight for such a large party, the staff handled everything well and kept things running smoothly. It’s great to have a restaurant like this in Eagle River.

I will say a few months ago when first open in the new location we had a not so great server and I was highly disappointed as was our whole
Party. Decided tonight to give it another try and so happy I did. The food was AMAZING and so was the service! The mini chimichangas and jalapeño cream cheese was to die for and so is the huckleberry margaritas!! Must try these

We love the food and Ms. Heather so much! We always make sure to leave with an extra quart of salsa, Horchata and Guacamole.
Update: We finally made it to the New Restaurant and I am in LOVE! Now the environment shows the beauty of the food and the staff. Everything is in harmony and Eagle River should be very proud and honored to have such a beautiful Gem.

The place is beautiful! Service was quick and friendly, the server helped answer questions about drink sizes. We enjoyed the mini chimmis, queso dip, and the combo platter. The birria tacos were decent but not incredible flavorful or crispy as hoped. We ordered the cheesecake chimis dessert to-go, and they forgot the ice cream, but were glad to grab it when I asked. Would come again 🙂

Jalapeños recently opened their doors to the next swinging place in Eagle River Alaska! The atmosphere is worthy of five stars.
They do have a rooftop and an outdoor patio which will be luscious to experience a cold drink in the summer months on our long summer night.
