Good place for casual dining. I got the meat combo plate and chose shredded beef. It came with rice, beans, and tortillas. It was delicious. The outdoor dining was on a busy sidewalk, but didn’t detract from the food or talking with my family/friends.

Was harassed by the “self professed” manager Gilda Gomez, 1/27, 7:50pm.
I Ordered a carnitas burritos but was happily sold their combo of the day with the carnitas burrito. In addition to the rice and beans, I was also given a cup for the fountain. I don’t drink soft drinks. After using the tiny plastic bag (that I was asked to use) to carry some pickled carrots, I proceed to put the leaky bag into the cup that I won’t be using, and capped it so the brine from the carrots won’t leak all over the place. I was stopped by Gilda who yelled that I should not be taking carrots, as they are for tacos only. Of course I knew it was BS. Been going to jalapeños for years. She demanded that if I won’t be using the fountain, I should have returned the cup in the first place. This Gilda is full of BS and should not interface with any customer. Her bad uncalled for manners/aggression towards me gave me a headache. Hope someone can look into this.

This place has become our favorite for quick serve Mexican. Their carnitas are the best, and even their chicken, which tends to lag most places of the same type, is flavorful. Nachos used to be the last of my choices, but they changed me here, with a generous amount of protein and lots of melty cheese! The reviews from 3 years ago don’t apply. Come and enjoy.

Tacos Al Pastor are still really good. Carnitas torta let’s just say was Missing flavor. Salsa bar still not open. Friendly staff and fast service. Good ambient with TV’s and plenty of sitting room. Enjoy your visit.

If you love Mexican food (and lets not kid ourselves, who doesn’t), this is one of my favorite places to go! So much better than the junk at fast food places… This is REAL Mexican food. I’ve tried a lot of menu items here and they’re all good but oh man is the asada burrito hard to beat! Give it a try if you happen to stop by!

I love jalapeños. I stop here whenever I come to the area. The food is always fresh! They have a small self serve salsa bar. The salsas are fresh made and delicious. I got a carne asada burrito bowl this visit. Absolutely fabulous – everything is good. The burrito bowl would be good served as a dip with chips. Pick one or two up on the way to your next party. I recommend Jalapeños to everybody. Quality food in a fast food setting. Take out or eat in – they have a small dining area.

I ask today to speak with the person in charge to point this issues with dirty areas but he don’t care he don’t want to spend one minute
1- air conditioning is really dirty inside air ducts
2-air conditioner filter is missing
3- air duct just on top of the food are and sirve dust is sprayed from open gap around the duct
4- floors are really dirty
NO MORE FOOD UNTIL THEY CLEAN
