We have gone to one of their trucks and thought their quesobirrias were delicious and wanted to try them again! Except this time we accidentally called in at the restaurant for pickup . Which was a good accidental mistake because we discovered the Birria Mac and cheese balls(comes in 3, in the picture 1 was already eaten )!!! I guess only the restaurant has them NOT the trucks. We also ordered a al pastor gordita, but we will say it was only okay. Jalapeño Mexican Grill is definitely the it spot for the quesobirria tacos, but the consomé is something you have to order separately which is kinda a let down but regardless the tacos are packed with lots of meat and flavor!
Atmosphere/Service:
Even though we didn’t eat at the restaurant, from what we observed everyone was being attended and servers were making sure both tables and pickups were satisfied!
For being a Thursday, every table was taken!

First time my wife and I came here I loved the street tacos so much I ordered 3 more to go and the chill dude brought me a free one to say thank you! Instantly scarfed that lol making it a cool half dozen street tacos, wife had birria ramen that was amazing, the agua frescas are super tasty, this has quickly become our #1 favorite Mexican spot in Santa Rosa. Thank you for the amazing food and awesome service!!

You can try their horchatas and agua frescas: pineapple, watermelon, hibiscus, cucumber/lime, mango, strawberry horchata, and horchata! The watermelon is seasonal so we had to get it and it was delicious! The strawberry horchata was the winner though! The staff were amazingly helpful in choosing what dishes. We had such a great experience! This really is a Sonoma County best kept secret!

We ordered the street and birria tacos from here. They’re pretty good and cheesy. Unfortunately, the tacos were very oily. They were leaking oil with every bite.

Birria tacos are amazing! My son wanted to try them after seeing them all over social media. I Googled “best birria tacos in Santa Rosa” and this place popped up. We ate 5 and got 8 more to take home. Mango agua fresca was perfect, the horchata was extra vanilla-y. Service was excellent, everyone was super nice and helpful. The place was also very clean. We are now following this business on Instagram and can’t wait to go try some other things they posted.

This place is so good! I ordered their birria quesadilla, which was massive. It tasted delicious and fresh. The quesadilla came with the lettuce, a salsa, and a little bit of sour cream on the side. Had to order the consomé separately, but it was worth it as it also had a lot of flavor to it. Their strawberry horchata was also really good and not too overpowering. They serve all orders when dining in with some chips and salsa. I will definitely be coming back to try more things on the menu!
