Tried to order on door dash but what I ordered had already sold out so I ordered some tamales and they were very good. I usually don’t care for the chicken and green sauce ones but these I would get again. They are big enough I shared with co workers. When I walked in felt like I was in Grandma’s kitchen and the smell was familiar. They were very sweet and helpful.

First time I came to jalapeño express with a co-worker four years ago and the food was great. Well today the food is terrible, tacos de tripas needed seasoning, chicken quesadilla with no cheese in it. They forgot to add crema in the Gorditas. Horrible don’t go. Waited over an hour for food & they didn’t have half of the menu & was told after I had already placed the order & waited. Cook & other employee arguing in the back. Ordered a quesadilla for it to have no meat & no cheese . Wasted $135 besides an hour of my time. 0 stars if I could .

The Al Pastor meat was very good. We were not a fan of the asada meat – no flavor. The blue corn tortillas were good. My husbands Torta was very good but we got the asada meat and again it was not very flavorful.

How lucky am I to have authentic Mexican food closeby? I look forward to coming back and trying everything on the menu! The Blue Corn tortillas are absolutely amazing. I got the Al Pastor and Carne Asada for my tacos. Both are absolutely flavorful. The restaurant was incredibly clean, and the service was beyond what I expected.

Placed pick up order, staff was very friendly and helpful. Order was ready on time, and just as ordered. 8 tacos (pollo, al pastor), 2 quesadillas (pollo), and an order of elote. Everything was delicious, will order again, and recommend to anyone locally.

This is our second time having breakfast here and it was AMAZING AGAIN!!!! Be prepared to use a translation app but PLEASE don’t come in with a karen or Kevin attitude because you know that your European folks took some time to learn unless they were the English! Have a few tacos and calm TF down! THE FOOD IS AMAZING! THE PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY! THE SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH!

AMAZING!!! Fresh authentic mexican food. The Tlacoyos are a must have as are the Al Pastor mini tacos and the quesadillas. The food is also priced very well.

Breakfast burrito is nasty, I didn’t even finish it , store bought flour tortillas and she put 2 of them together to make the burrito a decent size cause the tortillas were not that big , no seasoning on the ingredients in my food so it was very bland and they forgot my bacon! Was very disappointed because I read good things on the reviews and by the looks of the breakfast burrito pics the tortillas looked homemade , I’m not sure if it was just the girl that made it didn’t make it how it’s supposed to be made but she seemed young and she was the only one there to make it .. she definitely didn’t make it the way the pics are shown in the reviews.. and was charged 10$ for that smh … never again!!!
