Stopped to try a new place. Husband got a foot long and onion rings, I got nacho salad. The onion rings were lovely, all the food was good, I did not care for the chili and cheese, but that is personal preference. Staff was friendly, wait time was short and food looked nice. I will say the floor was a little dingy and husband said the bathroom was kinda gross.

We decided to try the new and improved Hot Dog Hut for dinner, finally. It was amazing. This is not our ordinary Hot Dog Joint. The tortilla chips on the nachos and nacho salad are cooked fresh for every order. The smash burger was so fresh and tasty, especially the freshly cooked bacon.

Discovered this gem shortly after moving to the area. The food is absolutely delicious. My wife and I are quite partial to their chili cheese dogs, they were surprised when we both ordered something different last time, but everything we have tried has been great. Staff is very friendly, dining area is very clean, and, as I said before, the food is delicious. Don’t pass them up.

Saw a post on “Should I eat There” Facebook group and the hot dog and fries looked so tasty I had to give it a try! I am so happy we did! Easily some of the best hotdogs we have had in the area. My husband got 2 foot longs and I got a foot long combo with fries. I had chilli, onions, cheese sauce and slaw on mine. We were chatting with the lady running the counter and she said that everything is made in house, including their chicken which they said they make in house! (Now I gotta come back to try that too)

The husband and myself were visiting the Kingsport area and decided to give the Hot Dog hut a try. I had a nacho salad which was loaded and everything was fresh and delicious! My husband had the pork loin sandwich and fresh cut fries which he raves about! The following day we had the hand breaded chicken tenders which is real chicken, the hand breaded chicken sandwich which could blow a lot of places out of the water in my opinion and last we shared a foot long hot dog with chili and jalapeños and again it was very good and the chili was great. The customer service was friendly and food was out quick. I’d say give it a try you won’t be disappointed

Oh no! What happened to the chili? I usually try to get a pound of chili here for get-togethers. For Memorial Day I forgot to get it early so I ended up going to Pal’s.
This past weekend I cooked some hamburgers, hotdogs, and chicken for the family on my new Blackstone and thought, hey I should go get some chili at Hotdog Hut. Drove there, bought a pound, and headed back. I didn’t even look at it until I was fixing my plate and I was kinda shocked at how it looked. It was not what I was expecting.
While eating, my dad was the first to bring up how different the chili was. I can’t remember exactly what he said but it was not a compliment. I finally tried it and I agreed, it was not good, unfortunately.
Why did you change the chili? Please bring it back, lol! The staff was very friendly and I did notice they had more menu items than before so we may go back and try other items. But I mainly went here for the hotdogs, specifically the chili. Oh well.

First time at the new hot dog hut and I was amazed. My food was fresh and the chili was made from scratch. I loved the foot long dog with the chili. Then the fries were crispy which I love.
I went back a second time and had their chicken salad. That was very tasty too. Very nice place and the new owners were very polite and got our order out quickly. Thanks for a great lunch.
