Felt like a good dive sports bar. Our waitress was 5 stars. Good personality, quick service, and attentive. You order at the bar when it’s busier. All the drink options you can think of, decent sized outdoor patio, and another side room with games. Only tried the queso, which tasted like it was made from powdered cheese, and was served with stale chips; I’m chalking it up to an off night. I bet this place is a blast on game days, and I’d certainly give their food another chance. They also have non alcoholic drink options.

Good neighborhood dive bar! Surprisingly large menu for a dive bar, and the food is good too. Quality hamburgers specifically. Pet friendly and smoke friendly on the patio. The bar staff have to work a little harder here than in some other places due to floor service coverage, so they are *reasonably* not as patient. Don’t be weird or waste their time.

Just arrived in Houston today after a long flight from Fort Lauderdale. Really was not in the mood for something too fancy or fast food. I came across Jake’s. Upon arriving, I thought it was a little bizarre how the staff looked at my wife and I, so we decided to seat ourselves. As the night progressed, the staff became more attentive and were very friendly. My wife got a burger with BBQ, American Cheese, and Bacon. It was pretty good according to her, and I tried a bite and was very good. It was seasoned nicely, nice toasted bun, and fresh cut french fries. For myself, I decided to go with onion rings, and 8 wings bone in of the medium buffalo. It was a nice bite of spicy flavor, and paired nicely with the carrots and ranch. However, I really did not like how there was plastic silverware and boxes scattered around. It surprised me. If you are looking for something tasty, I would say come here, but maybe have some other places in mind as this is not the highest class of places.

I took a vendor here for lunch. The food was great and the service was very attentive. Many people come here for the Philly cheese steak but we enjoy the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich. It’s big and perfectly cooked every time. It’s a little confusing upon entering whether we order at the counter or seat ourselves but we took a seat and was promptly served. It would be a great place for after work but there’s limited parking.

This was my first time ordering some at this place they did not care for my food properly at all food was cold & the bag was opened and my sauce was leaking all over. I will not be eating at this place at all. I attempted to call numerous time they don’t even pick up there phone. Don’t order for this place at all and the utensils were just in the bag with no plastic covering at all. They also provide the wrong food. I ask for chili and fries and look at the images or appear to be some cheese and pieces of salsa. Also queso was not provided as ordered. Not satisfied,

Fast, friendly service and a good lunch crowd. I opted to try their Original Philly Cheese steak (sliced rib eye beef, grilled onions and Provolone cheese). It was good and filling! I’d go back to try another sub type sandwich again… or perhaps the fried catfish platter?

Food is delicious here! Service is also great. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich with the sauce on the side because I love how the chicken tastes without the sauce. My kids love the chicken tenders and my husband the Philly cheese steak. I reccomend this place the food is delicious and service is friendly.
