We just happened upon this lovely food truck because we needed produce and stopped by Sterino Farms for the first time. Glad we did because these were the best chicken strips I think over had! They were so fresh tasting it’s even difficult to describe just how fresh even the chicken tasted. It wasn’t greasy at all and had me wondering if it was baked rather than fried! David likened the burger to being “as good as In & Out but more fresh” so I’d consider that a good burger with his love of In & Out! It was also great to have the buzzer when we ordered still we could keep walking around until our good was ready.

A bit disappointed with the burgers which were good tasting but not outstanding. Bun was too soft and the burger fell apart when taking a few bites. Onion rings were delicious, crispy, and hot – definitely recommended!

My mom (a lifelong Fife resident/Sterino’s customer) and her nurse came to get a hamburger to celebrate her 90th birthday on a Thursday two weeks ago. Long story short, after waiting over 30 minutes for their food, it still wasn’t ready. Her nurse had to get to another appointment, so they asked if they could just have a refund. They were told they could either continue to wait or forfeit their money. They had no choice but to leave; my mom was very disappointed. Their order wasn’t large or complicated and they were not told at the time of order that there would be an extended wait.

Visited for the first time recently. This burger truck opened within the last year in the parking lot of Sterino Farms in Puyallup (a favorite stop of mine). Amid the back drop of seasonal sunflowers, I enjoyed a basic, but very tasty burger (and rootbeer) at the outdoor covered picnic benches located nearby. When I ordered, I was given a buzzer to notify me when my order was ready. I liked this because I was able to walk amongst the sunflowers while I waited for my order. The truck also has fancy burgers, fish and chips, shakes and more. Looking forward to my next stop there.

I was out to referee soccer at Washington Premier and looked for a good local bite to eat when I found Jake’s. They have some really good burgers, fries, sauce, and chocolate shake. If I ever need a bite to eat well at WP I would definitely come back.

We stopped at Sterino Farms this past weekend to shop for fruit, pepper plants and this burger stand. Everything worked out well. We shared a Jack burger w/ fries and a banana shake. The burger was tremendous and quite messy (that’s a good thing). The fries were generously portioned and perfectly cooked. The banana shake was serviceable. For those familiar with local burger stands in the Fife/Puyallup area, we normally stop at P-Quick for our burger fix. Both are great choices. I really like the dill pickles and sauce on Jake’s burger and the fries are certainly more crisp. The P-Quick shake has fractionally better texture and consistency but Jake’s give you a really large straw to avoid clogging. Overall, you cannot go wrong with either choice. We will definitely have more of Jake’s delicious food. Best advice to minimize the wait while your food is handmade: Order before doing your other shopping. They’ll give you a wireless buzzer to let you know when to pick up your yummies.
