Came for the food and we weren’t disappointed! The two owners are your server and cook…. very invested in their business. This place is for adults, not child friendly if your looking for that atmosphere. The seating doesn’t accommodate even a small family. It’s a great place for friends to socialize and celebrate great food and great beer.

We had dinner and we’re pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the wine was great!!! The chef came to check in on us and we complimented him on his food. We ended our meal with Pumpkin Carmel Bread Pudding with ice Cream which we thoroughly enjoyed. Jake & Clays is worth a visit!

The cuisine is amazing! My husband and I split their prime rib sandwich and a Greek salad. The sandwich came with a bowl of their famous Bacon, Tomato & Gorgonzola soup. It’s so good that I asked for the recipe. But as with all treasured recipes, They keep it a secret. Oh well, that’s OK. I’ll be back and will have it here.

Went while on vacation based on the reviews and was rewarded with great tasting food. It’s just Jake and Clay in there. Went while they weren’t busy and the service was excellent. The tomato soup was thick and flavorful. I had the PBS sandwich, which sounded weird but was surprisingly good.

We decided to stop in for the French dip as we heard it was delicious. We of course ordered the French dip which comes with option of soup, salad, or pasta. We ordered Thai shrimp rice curry soup and it was absolutely amazing. The French dip definitely lives up to the recommendation. The guys are great and personable. Love the 80’s rock videos providing music and entertainment. We will definitely be back.

Our lunch was delicious. The Greek salad was a full meal for only $10.

We forgot to take something out to cook for dinner so decided to go out. In a search of a restaurant close to us we found Jake and Clay’s. We went in, had a seat and ordered a glass of wine. We decided to share a Reuben sandwich. Wow, seriously the best Ruben I have ever had. The meat was so tender and the sauce and the sauerkraut were amazing. We chose a green salad as our side and they split it for us. My husband had blue cheese and I had ranch. Seriously the best Ranch I have ever had. There was a couple specials that night one of which was Mediterranean lamb meatballs with rice. If my husband and I we’re a little more hungry, I probably would have had that. Everything there is homemade and we will definitely be back to try something else. Give this place a try, you won’t be sorry. Support your local small business!

The place isn’t large, the menu consists of appetizers, soups, and salads. The food is delicious though.
This wasn’t my first visit, but one of my friends really wanted us to try their feta ranch. It was definitely a highlight. But what was even better…the garlic mayo they put on their C.B.G.B sandwich.
One friend ordered their Club Salad with the feta ranch. She really liked it. The salad looked fresh and the eggs were even cooked perfectly (not a single hint of grey). They give you a really good amount of dressing and if it wasn’t so tasty, you would probably have more than you need.
My other friend and I went with their C.B.G.B. sandwich with a side salad. I absolutely love their bacon Gorgonzola tomato soup, but I had to give their feta ranch a try.
The next time I go, it’s going to be even more difficult to choose what to order. Everything I have had has been delicious, but I really think I will be dreaming about that garlic mayo (it’s that good).
They do have several wines, beers, ciders, seltzers, and even Mead to choose from. — at Jake & Clay’s Public House.

We went to Jake & Clay’s after a recommendation from a local training opportunity and they did not disappoint! We all had beautifully presented food that was delicious! The service was great and none of us left a bite on our plates.
I had a chicken alfredo dish made with sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms and I would drive the hour to have it again some time; so good!
I will say, one member in our party was sad there were no desserts as listed on their menu board but when we asked, the owner said “Mom wrote that” and I am not sure if that meant it had sentimental value and was not changed or what but I have seen other reviews mention their bread pudding being good so hopefully we can try that next time.
Other mentionings, I drive a full size truck and was able to park but there were limited spaces due to neighboring businesses and of course, like most places these days, they are lined for sedans and smart cars. The pub is relatively small but they have made good use of what space they have. Service was friendly and the environment was chill.
