Highs, friendly staff. Outside of that my overall experience was poor. First the restaurant staff the day I was there arrived after the opening hours. The second food prices are expensive for what you get( another reviewer said the same thing). Third service is extremely slow, we waited 35 minutes for our soda/pop fountain drink and Indonesian drink. Next the food took nearly 50 minutes after ordering. The beef rendeng was cold as it seemed not to have been fully reheated, the taste was good but more of a beef stew than actual rendeng.

The food is so expensive for what you get 20 bucks for dollar store ramen and chicken? It’s insane it took them almost 30 minutes to get us our food while the restaurant was completely empty. Overall a bad experience the ramen noodles were ok but the chicken was disgusting. Obvious that they just heated it up in the microwave.

Everything was exceptional. The owners and staff were very friendly and attentive. It seems like it is a local place so the food taste very good. Please be patient with them because it seems like only two people run the entire place but it is worth the wait! I love it. 🙂

Lovely restaurant with great staff. The women were very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. The eggs wraps were extremely delicious along with the dip. Wow. They turkey leg was good but it wasn’t very tender. I ordered something else but I don’t know the name of it. It was delicious though and my wife enjoyed the chicken fried rice. Great place. We will be back.

I walked in to try this spot as I’ve driven past it many times going down 119th St. when I walked in, I was very pleased with the atmosphere. The place was clean and had an open layout that felt inviting. When I walked up to the counter, I wasn’t too sure what to order as I’d never had Indonesian food. But the girl who took my order, plus the owner, were more than happy to help me find something that fit my flavor profile. I ended up getting the spicy beef rendang and the egg wraps. The owner, popped up out of her chair and let me know she’d make special egg wraps which I thought was a nice mix of service and care in the food they make. I really enjoyed everything I ate. Definitely coming back!

My partner and I went here with our friends for dinner.

Their fried noodles (mie goreng) is flavorful, savory, and sweet – very balanced.

Their chicken & beef rendang is tasty, not too spicy for those who can’t handle it. They nailed the yellow rice; it complimented the rendang dish beautifully.

Last but not least, the sate padang (satay) is fine and very well-cooked. My partner liked the sauce with the rice cake, especially nice.

We also ordered the egg martabak: good filling, crispy, and can eat them all day.

Come here with an open mind and take your time in enjoying the Indonesian food.

We can’t wait to come back to try more of the dishes that they offer! (My partner and I are really into Indonesian food)

I recently visited this Indonesian halal restaurant and enjoyed a great meal. The beef rendang and avocado juice are must-tries – both were excellent. The chicken noodles and egg roll were also flavorful and well-prepared. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was attentive. Highly recommend for halal Indonesian cuisine.

We’ve been 3 or 4 times now and everything has been excellent and the staff are very helpful. We especially like the egg wraps, vegetable fritters, mie goreng with shrimp, chicken satay, and the rendang with beef, but everything we’ve tried has been delicious!

I have been to this restaurant several times. My favorite item is chicken fried noodles. I have also had egg wraps which are best fresh. The oxtail soup lacks a bit on salt and last time we ordered chicken satay it was slightly burnt. They are slow to get food out in a timely fashion.
